Alright, this is a contest in which a person will write a three paragraph essay about any supernatural or paranormal experience they've had or would like to have.

The winner of the contest gets to decide what the next subforum will be as well as 7000 gold.

You all have until this friday. Good luck to everyone and I hope you enjoy this contest.

It would be horrible if I didn't enter! Here is a recent past life regression. It's not that paranormal, but entering a past life seems paranormal enough.

I sank onto my bed to begin my first past life regression. I wasn't expecting to find out much about any of my past lives, I was only intending to practice.

My vampire laid beside me to help guide me a little into my past life channel. As I closed my eyes everything was dark at first but then the images began to come slowly.

First was the tall man with dissheveled black hair. He held out his hand for me to take. I knew this man to be my vampire, and the way he carried himself was completely enchanting. He escorted me towards a staircase leading down.

I knew that as I went down these stairs that I'd have to relax my physical body more and more. So with each step I felt more and more tension releasing. I looked back up, to see my vampire watching me climb down the stairs. He could not come with me, this was something for me to see.

It was a strange feeling walking down the hallway. It seemed to go on forever, and the doors all looked the same. They were thick and heavy wood doors with cast iron handles. One door was beckoning to me. I began to run to it. On the door, I noticed a whiteboard for me to write upon. I wouldn't know then, but it would help me track who I met in my past life.

As I opened the door, it seemed to open right into a scene of one of my past life.

The sky was a bluish grey and the boys around me were playing baseball. I didn't have time to look around, all I did notice was that I was no longer feminine. I was a teenage boy.

This boy, Jack, was his name. I don't know his last name. Sometime during the 1930s. I was watching the day that I died.

He was scrawny, but a great kid. I could see that he was very playful and looked after people around him.

As he was leaving the baseball field, he got into a quick fight with one of the other players.

This is where I, as a witness, felt strangely drawn to this boy fighting with me. I realized that the fight was friendly, and I kept seeing my vampire's face flash in my subconscious.

After the fight, Jack headed home where he sat at the dining table with his father.

My heart stopped dead.

His father.

I know his father. His father hasn't changed a bit. He's one of my spirits. One of the spirits I call "My second dad". I couldn't believe it, the two interacted like friends. I gathered from them that Jack was going to help his mother travel back into town for a meeting of some sort.

I saw a wagon, with Jack and his mother in it. As the wagon made it's way towards town, a wheel broke off and the wagon flipped down a slick slope. Jack didn't die until trying to reach for his mother, when the wagon made it's final flip, landing on both Jack and his mother.

I watched my father at the joint funeral. He was torn up in the inside, and he was desperate to find a way to be with Jack and his wife. The same boy that Jack had fought with earlier approached him to mention a lady near the woods who had something that could help.

And as soon as it started, I stood at the door. I was in the hallway again. Feeling the dying need to go to my vampire, then to find my spirit father. I wrote on the door who it was I met and who I was. I knew that I'd be in that door many more times, but now I knew that I had a spirit father who was here to take care of me. Never died, just...carried on.

I was up the stairs, and my vampire and I opened our eyes at the same time. I was back in my reality, realizing now that things and people were beginning to weave together. Nothing and no one comes into our lives by accident.

Okay!
When I was, I do believe twelve, my aunt died very suddenly from a heart attack. It happened shortly after Valentines day. On Thanksgiving, she was talking to me about my birthday and what she wanted to get me, I am named after her so I am favored. Lol. None the less, I started getting weird vibes and this feeling I can not possibly explain, if I had to, it felt like some one had just stabbed my chest repeatedly. I got the feeling that if this pain kept going I would die, but it suddenly disappeared. I looked at my aunt who was looking at me, she looked horror struck. I told her the pain I felt and her face drained, I asked if she was okay, and she nodded and said she needed a cig.

After about a hour later, this clear very brisk voice said to me, "This well be the last thanksgiving with her, just as it shall be your last birthday with her". I was more the spooked because I swear it was some one from behind me, and I was leaning against a wall. I felt it all the way to my core being that he was right, something just told me it was true. When the day came that my aunt died, I felt this weird comfortable peace, it followed through me and I knew, I knew she was dead. I was heartbroken.

When my mother had come home from the hospital where my Aunt had been, She told me she had died of a heart attack. I believe the pain I felt in my chest, was a warning sign to let me know what was going to happen to her. From then on I've never ignored the feelings I get about something like that. I believe that I am told for a reason, and that I was meant to stop these things.
This is my story I hope you found it interesting. Thank you for reading.

Jaden-san and I both have carefully looked over both your threads and....we can't decide a winner. We like alot of aspects from both your stories, but we'd like to give this contest two more weeks before we decide a winner. This way, whomever was to shy to post will have a shot.
However, if you both feel that I winner should be introduced now instead of on January 24, then don't be afraid to post that you want the winner to be introduced now.

I do believe that hers is better. Though mine is powerful, hers clearly represents something more paranormal.

Hers represents an event which wasn't...pursued.

I believe that she is the winner, but it is clearly up to you and Jaden.

Actually, we've switched that too. It's up to the members of the guild.

Shadow-san, if that's what you want to be called, I must say, your essay was amazing. I can't believe I didn't read it earlier.

It gave me a whole new perspective on spirits, and I felt like I was going to burst with love for my spirit guides (even though I haven't properly met them).
Actually, I think it gives me a little more confidence about meeting them..

I know this contest is already over, but brava~
