Hello. Welcome to Delightfully Disgruntled Rp'ers. My name is Clockwork_Creep. this is the Introductions thread. Here you can tell us a bit about yourself, your llikes, some dislikes. Also, please tell us your favorite and least favorite kinds of roleplays.
I'll go first. I'm a male, who lives in California. Most of the time I'm either in class or working. I always find time to pop on to the computer to check up on things.
My favorite rps are Steampunk and Post Apocolypse settings. I like to play odd and interesting characters, such as low class bandits whith drinking problems and mutant who worship a Lynyrd Skynyrd record.. My best characters end up as villains and antagonists. Stirring up conflict is one of my favorite things to do.

Hello all,
I am also a male and in my teens; I live in Virginia though I often travel to Pennsylvania probably at least once a month. I am also usually at school, doing homework or studying, acting, or playing some random game, but I still find come on Gaia my fair share.
I don't have too much of a preference in terms of Rping but I prefer original ideas usually over something like a Bleach or Naruto rp.

Guten Tag!
I'm a male living in Illinois. When I'm not slacking off, I'm usually out doing random activities or sleeping.
My favorite types of rp's are generally more gothic or modern day. I enjoy playing the whimsical moron or the perverted teacher. I've noticed that I have a pension for killing off my teacher characters, yet I think I enjoy playing as them the most. I absolutely cannot stand when someone says 'every element is my power' or something along those lines.

Greetings my fellow disgrunted RPers!
The Name is GioDiaz (Try Not to Wear it out yeah?)) I'm just a Six-Teen year old Latin kid (Who is not Mexican!) who lives in Illinois. Between Slacking off in School, and Jacking O- *COUGH COUGH* Hrm hehheh. I tend to make tons of Jokes in class which gives me a title of Class Clown, and 'The King' Around my friends since I have the most guts out of them, I enjoy RPing which had become a hobby of mine in the Sixth Grade. Balancing out my life with Tae-Kwon-Do, Rping, and School work, I love to make new friends.
When it comes to RPing, I end up in those nasty ol' Vampire Cliches, but sometimes I can mold it into something great, even if it doesn't belong to me. I have a love for War/Post Apocalyptic RPs, which is awesome, and sometimes there is a little Fantasy or Medieval or something. When it comes to characters I can either be an Anti-Hero, or a Protagonist who can manage to pull the RP to revolve around him (Which is a fun thing to do when nothing is going on.) Other than that, I guess I'm a normal person...So Uhh...Let us RP together Yes? YES!

Heyas, I am male as well (go figure) and live in the state of Alaska. I am currently unemployed (Looking for a job, though not as actively as I probably should be.) and not doing school at the moment, though I plan to attend at a later date to further my goal of being an animator. I am lazy. >.< I am a big time gamer/geek and always have been. I've been a member of the World of Warcraft addictees for a couple years now though recently I've fallen into a slump of wanting to really play it other than when I'm extremely bored. I also play Dungeons and Dragons (Table top with dice and paper and statuettes and the like.) with a group that gets together once, maybe twice a month (Though I rather play that than any console/PC game and would if our DM had more time.)
As for my roleplaying style I prefer literate (derp) and fantasy settings much like the D&D universe. I do like things out of the ordinary as well, including steampunk. I loathe vampire/lycanthrope roleplays because they always try to be like the "Underworld" movies. I was author of one RP myself which was an experiment one, made before it was trendy. It was called "The Nine Hells" and I loved it dearly, but it died due to my inactivity because of a busy life at the time and some none literate roleplayers (I have a hard time saying "No".)
On a side note I tend to have a hero complex and find it hard to play a "bad guy", though have on several occasions. That said I usually play the self righteous young knight and other idealistic characters.
*Edit* Since we all seem to be listing our age group, I just turned twenty in 2008. It's hard to be vague when you're right on. Late teens/early twenties doesn't really apply.

I'm female, if you can't tell from my pictures in my profile. I'm in my late teens, I'll graduate high school in 2010! I am engaged, I don't care what you think. I need to get off my a** and get my driver's license. I want to join the NG. I need to get a job. I am a straight A student. -Babbles.- I love animals. Currently, I hate Louisiana, because I live there. Um-m-m-m-m. I do have a creative mind and do try to force out new twists on old roleplays. I have been to many different RP sites. Also, I am a gamer, mock me. I'm very open minded to many RPs, I'll try anything once. Ummhm. There really isn't anything I don't like, unless it's truly redundant, like those spoke of in the thread.
I do have one problem, life comes before RP.. Sorry. :3 And I am a VERY strong believer in you get out what you put in. Anything you want to know, really? Ask... I'm blunt.
Other than all that B.S., I'm not your average female. <3

Hello everyone!
My name is Jason_Grey, but I like to be called Jay. I am a Southern-born GIRL (seriously), and I turned 17 last month.
It had been over two years since I last roleplayed anything literate, so I don't remember my characters very well. The character that's clearest in my mind is a teenaged girl in a modern reincarnation fantasy roleplay called Maria. She used to be a theif in her past life, but in her present she drew pictures of her past in her free time, skipped class to hang out with a homeless guy pal of hers, and was generally a nuisence because I didn't know what I wanted with her. If I could figure out how to reinvent her, I would. I had a lot of fun playing her in the months I was in that roleplay. I finally dropped out because I had family issues to take care of.
I have no preferences, but I can't do comerce-based roleplays, much romance, and vampires. Ghosts, however, I am quite good at playing, or so I've been told.

im a girl,in georgia. i am almost 16! (well okay almost give or take 4 months or so) unless theres a holiday im usually only on at night (5 extra curriculars and counting) im a ddr and anime fanatic

Hello All.
I am o_X-The-Darkest-Star-X_o, but you may call me Becca.
I'm a teenage girl who's been into roleplays for about 6 years now.
I live in the United States, and thats all you really need to know.
Although very cliched, i enjoy Slave role plays. I also enjoy War-like role plays and i tend to play an assassin character or a spy.
My favorite character to play is a the witty sarcastic theif who has a knack for creating locks and bombs of different sorts.
My least favorite role plays are the one involving vampires and love (thank you for screwing these over even worse Twilight.
Actually any kind of lovey-dovey role play makes my stomach turn.
I prefer fighting.

Terra here. Despite the (supposedly) feminine username, I am in fact, a male. I'm entering the latter half of my grad year, and am seventeen.
I have a penchant for the weird and unusual. A good example would be the time that I roleplayed a romance between schizophrenic characters. I like to think outside the box, and am perfectly willing to handle issues that others wouldn't dare touch. My characters lean towards the darker side, but are rarely villans. I am particularly fond of playing noble characters.
My main settings are post apocalyptic, sci-fi, and mythic fantasy.
On a final note, I'm currently running on a dial-up, so my posts can sometimes be delayed.

WADDUP PEOPLE!
My name is Katie, I live in little tiny Rhode Island. You know that state under Massachusetts? I'm sixteen, and I go to a Catholic All-Girls school. Which is kind of..well..icky. But I'm used to it. I'm a junior in high school with a crazy steady boyfriend, we'll be together for two years on February Tenth. <3 I'm always traveling around. I'll be in DC for a week in March. And a tour around Japan/Singapore & Tailand for two weeks in April. So please excuse my crazy timed posts. I don't mean it! I literally just got my driver's license a week ago. I'm soupt! I'm a total geek, with A's and B's. And I apologize but my life and school come before gaia. I adore PMs, and bright colors, to be honest, I could care less what RP we decided on. A word of warning though, my characters tend to be perky and fun like I act in real life. They might attack yours on random occasions. =)

ELLO ALL!
I am a girl (what a shocker there!) I live in Ontario....Though I still like to think I live in Australia, I moved to Canada almost a year ago.
I have been on gaia and involved with roleplaying for four maybe five years, I dont really know. I cant remember.
I dont really...Well I like any kind of roleplays really...but my favorite are war ones, ones that involve horror and lots of crimes. You know when you are always on the move for your lives and fighting till the end!

A mysterious man walk's in with a group of people "To my right here is a pricless painting of ....some old man..."
A man from the group speaks up "What is that dreadfull thing back in the corner!" At this word the whole group gathers over surounding a caged being whereing a potato sack.
"Oh that is just ~T~a~l~, one of my slaves. He is a typical Canadian boy who has been living in the life of anime and roleplay since... well now about 9 year's. He is 18 years old and tends to be very nice and charming, but for saftey i keep him locked up. Oh and one thing... never get in a discution with him about nooblets... and people who are unable to use there imagination to think of original ideas of how to make a forum... follow a class... and destory the reputation...of a good vampire or lycan.
After a short break of people taking picture the man insists of moving on.
A little boy goes over out of the group and looks in the cage. "Sir... there is no one in here..."
With those words the whole room stops and turns around slowly. A sound of heavy breathing faint but getting louder appears and all of a sudden the doors shut and ~T~a~l~ appears to be uncahined standing by a light switch with a look of hunger in his face. The lights are shut off and a deathly shrill is echoed threw the manor.
(heheh i had fun writting that! lol)

Hey, I'm RealLiveSuperhero, but it's probably a lot easier for you guys to type Hero so feel free to. My favorite type of roleplays are SteamPunk, Dark Fantasy (like a twisted fairy tale), Sci-Fi if done well and Modern Assassin settings can be great. I'm 85... or 17 take your pick. I've been doing this crazy roleplaying thing for a while now, since I was in elementary school I think. My characters can either be cynical and stubborn to being slightly insane and focused on their instincts, it really depends on the setting and situation. Oh yeah, I'm Canadian, a Student and I play in a musical duo/band if you count a drum machine. I figured I'd throw in some personal info.

Whats up, im The Renton, im a seventeen year old skater. The names jonhny dont you forget it. If i see this guild prosper i will donate to the leader so we can have contests. I've been roleplaying since 03, yeah first year. But i got a hang to gaia, i also play the drums. Thats all im saying.
