Smoothies
For all recipes, blend all ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker, serve immediately and enjoy!

Serves 1 - 2

Mango and Vanilla ice Shake

1 Mango, peeled and diced
1/2 vanilla pod, use the seeds
Crushed ice (about 8 cubes)

Cool Grape

100 g white grapes, seedless
1/4 pineapple, peeled and in chunks
Chrushed ice (about 8 cubes)

-------

Hawaiian Papaya

150 g papaya, peeled and in chucnks
200 g tomato, in chunks
Juice from 1 lime
Crushed ice (about 8 cubes)

-------

Banana and honey Milkshake

1 Banana, sliced and frozen
1 teaspoon honey
150 ml icecold milk
Pinch of cinnamon
5 fresh mint leaves

-------

Banana Choc

2 Tablespoon instant chocolate powder
60 ml milk
1 banana peeled and in pieces
Chrushed ice (about 4 cubes)

-------

Watermelon, strawberry and orange juice

100 g diced watermelon (no rind)
10 clean strawberries
150 cl ice cold orange juice
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)

Blueberry Frappe

100 g white grapes
50 g Natural Yoghurt
50 g blueberries
Crushed ice (about 5 cubes)

Lychee milk shake

175 g Lychees, peeled. stones removed
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
crushed ice (about 6 cubes) (or milk to thin the shake)

-------

Papaya pineapple juice

150 g papaya, peeled and in chunks
1/4 pineapple, peeled and in chunks
Keep layers seperate
chrushed ice (about 10 cubes)
25 g blueberries (garnish)

Cherry bliss

250 g cherries, stoned removed
1/4 pineapple, peeled and in chunks
crushed ice (about 6 cubes)

Build-Your-Own-Smoothie: (1-2 servings)
1 handful chopped fresh fruit or berries
1 semi-frozen banana or other relatively mushy fruit
Fruit juice of your choice
a cup or so vanilla yogurt
a splash of flax seed oil

-Add all the fruit to the blender.
-Add enough juice to just cover the fruit.
-Add the yogurt and oil. Blend until smooth.

Vanilla Peanut Butter Protein Shake or better known as the Banana Peel.
1 Banana
1 tsp. of Natural Peanut Butter
2 Scoops of Vanilla Protein
5-8 Ice Cubes
1/2 cup to 1 cup of Soy Milk

Monel, what would you suggest substituting for pineapple in those smoothies?
I'm allergic to pineapple but those recipes look yummy. ^w^

Are you alergic to food flavouring like that of pineapple as well?

Because if your not, just use a splash of the liquid and use more papayas.

But if you don't like it (which I can understand) use fruits hat have allot of juice in, specialy those that are sweet yet sour / bitter as to at least keep the similar bite to the smoothie in question.

If not, watermelon is great, any melons really. Dragon fruit, is fantastic. Grannetapples seived after being blitzed. Lychees are tangy, kiwis are also a possibility. Passion fruit is great to add after blitzing, the seeds and colouration to whatever you make is lovely. There are fruits that you can get at specialized supermarkets. (I like to explore XD)

Banana milkshake

2 bananas
2 eggs
about 2 cups of milk
some vanilla extract
a few shakes of cinnamon

blend, crush, liquify, grate use the blender anyway you see fit.

I used to have this smoothie all the time, i loved it:

Tropical Smoothie

Preperation time: about 5 min
Servings: 1 to 2



Ingredients

-1/2 ripe mango, peeled and seeded
-1/2 ripe papaya, peeled and seeded
-1 ripe banana
-1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
-1/2 cup skim milk
-1/4 cup nonfat yogurt
-1 teaspoon good honey
-2 cups ice


Directions

In a blender, combine the mango, papaya, banana, orange juice, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice. Blend until smooth and Enjoy!! ^-^

Sunrise Smoothie

Ingredients:::

-1 cup chopped ripe strawberries (5 large strawberries)
-1 cup chopped seeded watermelon
-1 cup chopped fresh peach
-1 cup raspberry sorbet
-1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Directions:::

Place the strawberries, watermelon, peach, sorbet, and orange juice in a blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Add more orange juice if you'd like it a little less thick. Serve immediately in tall glasses with straws and Enjoy!
