Did you know that I am the last person listed in this guild when I was one of the earliest members?
It's not important, but I felt like saying it.
After a few days or three, I shall rename this thread as "The Thread of Wisdom" and post inspiring things at you. Then you can discuss/go off topic as much as you like.
Actually, since I feel like spamming the guild productively, I shall create a new topic for wisdom where wisdom can be shared by all who are wise or 'get wise' with other people.
But that will be later.
So here you may discuss:
Being last in things Last things Things that last Last mon, tues, wednes, thurs, fri OR sat - but not sun. The last melon Actually, you can discuss last sunday too. I was just being mean Also: Last year/month/decade etc.
All posts must have the word 'last' in it somehow. Be creative folks!
Who ever tells me first where the 'last melon' comes from wins a secret prize of unknown value!

That's quite odd, actually.
But congratulations. I am only the third on the list, I would rather be last like you.

My lastness streak has only ever been broken by my birth order (bloody middle child syndrome >_>)
Third is the one with the bubblegum dress =]
Or the hairy chest...
Or the golden chest.
It depends on what primary school yard rhyme you choose. biggrin

You're a middle child too? Do you suffer from the syndrome as well?
Yay nothing! 1st the worst, 2nd the best, 3rd the... nothing. Anticlimax! scream

Then you probably don't suffer from it.
The crash course lesson I got from my year 8 music teacher pretty much says I get emotionally screwed. The eldest gets praise for being a pioneer and taking care of the younglings. The youngest gets spoiled and babied. The middle child generally develops resentment for the youngest sibling and intimidated the eldest's success... something something... stopped listening.
But I'm a very middle child. Splat bang three years apart on either side. The more siblings you have, the less severe I guess? I don't know, I suffer from a lot of psychological issues.

I would believe the opposite actually.
I think it would average out. So, obviously the elder child become natural leaders, but don't get to experiment/get coddled as much at the youngest child.
The middle child gets a moderate amount of all the positives and none of the negatives. That makes middle children the best!
(This is called El Rab's theory of sibling rivalry...since he's a doctor and all, he knows about this stuff)

Oh of course, Doctor! How silly of me.
Actually that's pretty valid. The middle child syndrome rarely works for me as an excuse for being emotionally ... strange. My friend is the youngest in her family and is neglected like heck. Her two older sisters (middle ones) are basking in their early success, and her older brothers force her to clean the house since she's the only one who doesn't have a job and isn't allowed to. Haha poor thing...

I'm glad you though it was valid. I looked what I wrote and thought "Wow, I'm so pretentious, it's not as if I know anything about that at all" (other then personal experience).
She sounds like a poor thing indeed.

I do that shifty stuff aalll the time. It makes it easier to feed people lies later on. People like to think you know something. As long as you sound convincing, it might as well be true!

Wow that's a HUGE gap!
Wow... You could fit a whole developing teen into that space.
Well, you can't be his/her dad (didn't specify). Not under normal circumstances anyway. blaugh

You'd be a pretty young dad. Haha eitherway, you'll probably end up in a third parental-like role.
I'm almost like that with my cousins. I'm the 2nd oldest child on both sides of my family. My cousin keep popping up all over the place, I think the youngest is 1 year old or close. Give my relatives another year and I'll have another baby cousin.
