Have you ever watched a horse play with another horse?
I find it particularly fascinating how they bite, kick, rear, buck, run, sqeal, and many other antics.
I have watched our horses before, during and after play.
I've noticed that before all that it need is the twitch of and ear to set play in motion.
During play I've noticed how closely related to childrens play it is, sometimes it's as if they play tag.
And after play it's almost as if they rekindled their bond to one another.
This is both fascinating and cute but I have noticed what we humans tend to do when that horse play is directed toward us.
We snap at them, this has many forms from a pop on the nose to a scream of anger.
I decided to take a step back and look at it from a horses pov, and I have come to see how much of a comedian my horse really is! rofl

haha don't feel bad I used to not know what it meant rofl
playing tag with you horse is awesome. we play at the walk trot and canter. I can't keep up with the gallop whee We don't call it tag though we call it catch the human!!! Red cloud really has it downXD
Its amazing when your horse thinks enough of you to share thier horsie games.

Me and Trouble and Bucky use to play hide and seek. It was fun! I'd count and they'd run away then I'd search the woods and pasture. The first i find has to let me on him then we chase the other back to the gate. One time Trouble was it and so I got on Bucky's side so he couldn't see me and he looked around all confused then i jumped onto his back when he got near. blaugh fun times, but it's hard to play since Bucky died, but me and Trouble tried teaching Bell before she left.

You and Bucky used to play Hide and Seek? thats so cute Angel and Bucky died? I'm sorry. D: Anyway him and Bell sound like very nice horses.^^

Yeah, well now we got Trina, and she likes playing games no matter what it is. She even got Kiba, my dog playing!

Awww thats so cute! anyway the only game my horse likes to play is chewing on anything he gets his mouth on. XD

I could watch horses play for hours.
they even play when you don't think they are.
like when they are grazing a simple flick
of an ear can cause a reaction 4laugh
