Personally I think anyone that thinks that there is no life beyond earth is completely narrow-minded. The universe is infinite, that leaves us with infinite possibilities. I don't know if aliens have contacted earth, maybe most other planets and life are just as intelligent as us...maybe we are the more intelligent life. (....haha...) I have different friends though who have seen some sort of UFO or glowing flying object. The only people who really know are those who have had contact. I am not one of those people but I still have no doubt that there's more to our universe then empty stars and planets!!
There's more stars out there then pieces of sand on earth...

The laws of statistics also tells us that anything that has happened once can and will happen again. However, UFO's are probably made up. If there's intelligent lifeforms out there, they would be millions of lightyears away. That means, even if they went at the speed of light, which is the maximum speed possible in the universe, it would still take them millions of years to reach us. And any physical object is turned into pure energy long before it hits that kind of speed, so there's really no way for that to happen. The only way would be teleportation, and that's just unrealistic... But who knows, maybe the whole 'wormholes are gateways through the dimensions' theory is correct, and they've learend to teleport around the universe. But either way, there are no known wormholes within close proximity to our solar system as far as I know, and even if there were, why would they send tiny, primitive spaceships to fly over American cities in full daylight...?

Space = infinite possibility's
Infinite possibility's = everything that you can think of, no matter how unrealistic, and more.
Idea#1: (Fantasy)
I think that it's very possible that the IGC (Inter-Galactic Community) has/is building massive space relays to basically "shoot" a ship through space at a speed "faster" than light. The only problem is the ships getting "turned into pure energy" thing, but once they have created some sort of material or shield to put on the ships.
Idea#2: (Realistic)
They are putting sub-ether drives on the ships along with cryogenic sleeping tubes. The only problem is that time gets distorted the farther away you are from Earth.

personally i doubt it but, i am also open to the idea of alien life beyond earth. besides if that is true then your ideas of space craft is narrowminded in of itself it may be from a parallel universe aswell. hell we might be visiting ourselves to see what has changed from differently made choices. there is more then one way to explain a space craft other then just aliens.

UFOs r fully practical they do exist as hard as it is to believe.Now mind you i do not mean that every tim you see something weirdin the sky that it'sa UFO but yes it is possible.They have even been documented in and throughtout history, in the bible, in famous works of art, and even documents and paintings from civizlations like the Egyptians.Look at area 51 who knows what is there? there could be tons of documents and infromation on UFOs there.So yes they do exist and there is proof.Mopst of all just remember "seeing is not always believeing"

I'm pretty sure that there's life out there. But as Kino said, why would they fly around here.
If humans could travel through space and maybe be able to "create" wormholes or develop another technology to travel faster without transformation to energy (or maybe change our bodies to some kind of energy-lifeform biggrin ) they wouldn't search for empty planets without technology.
The only reason for that I could think of would be using that planet as a new home because earth is to small to hold all the humans.^^

Well... as we don't really do enough to prevent such a fate we may have to look for a new hostplanet...
But... I don't care how we should do that, hopefully I'm dead when we this time comes.
Yeah I know that's the reason we are coming nearer to such an end...

Anything is possible, but untill we have proof them, it will be hard to convince others of existance outisde of earth.
