We know it by many stories. The book of Revelations with its Rapture, where the chosen will be removed from the fate of the world, and saved by their names writ in the Book of Life.
We know it as Ragnarok, when Fenris will run wild, Thor will succumb to the poisins of the Midgard Serpent after defeating him, and his two sons will carry his hammer together and the world will begin anew.
Here you can discuss if you believe or don't believe in the end of the world as foretold within your faith's tales. Tell us what evidence you believe exists to prove the coming events, and your personal predictions or opinions if you have any. Be as descriptive and imaginative as possible while remaining true to your personal beliefs and as best you can to your faith's stories.
Discuss.

I have very little to say... Everything that has a beginning has an end. Sooner or later the Earth will be destroyed or turn barren dead. Meteors, comets, the sun exploding, nuclear war, pollution, huge earthquakes that makes volcanos all over the world cover the world in ash and lava... Or maybe some divine reason. Either way, it will end, sooner or later.

Either way, it will end, sooner or later. Ya basically all of that. And when Jesus and Thor come down here they'll look at each other and say "WTF? Where is evry1?" (yes, gods use chat-speak) and they will decide to invite all the other gods to come down and have a party so awesome that it brings the Earth back (from whatever happened) and life starts again. Fin. This post was basically me being silly xp

I was raised in a Christian family, so I beleive in the Prophecy in the Book of Revelations. I hear other Christians always saying how it's scary, but why should we be afraid if it meant that we were going to be with our God?
Anyway, I guess I don't have much to say that already hasn't been said. Nothing in this world is eternal, so the end of all life and the world isn't so farfetched.

Well to me I assume we'd reincarnate to another planet/universe/heaven etc. When it does happen I don't know or care but I have a slight theory. The time I keep hearing is 2012. Nostradamus said 2012 or something. I think it will end because of a massive amount of solar winds that "blows" away our atmosphere like what happened to Mars. The next solar wind cycle is supposed to start in 2012 or something.

2 Timothy 3
1 You should also know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.
2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.
3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good.
4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.
5 They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.
6 They are the kind who work their way into people's homes and win the confidence of* vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by many desires.1
7 Such women are forever following new teachings, but they never understand the truth.
8 And these teachers fight the truth just as Jannes and Jambres fought against Moses. Their minds are depraved, and their faith is counterfeit.
9 But they won't get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as happened with Jannes and Jambres.
