When I went to my friend Grayed's house for the New Year she and her friends introduced me to a new and BEAUTIFUL game! It was incredibly fun and addicting! I was hoping that it could, in -some- way, be repeated on Gaia somehow.




It's kinda like the game "telephone".

The basic jist of the game was to have a group of people each have a notebook. On the first page they were to write a sentence. ANY sentence. The more wacky or far out, the better. After writing that sentence they then pass their notebook to the player on their left (or right). Then the player has to interpret that sentence by a drawing of some sort on the NEXT page (the better to conceal the identity of the original sentence and picture). When everyone is done we then pass it on to the next person who then writes a sentence about the picture they just saw. This continues until the notebook reaches the original owner.

Then they read what became of their sentence.

I thought that MAYBE I could think of a plausible way of doing such a wonderful game on Gaia because we about died laughing every time we played it.

So what I thought about doing was something like this:

• 6 players
  
• PMs
  
• A paint program (like MSpaint) OR drawing paper to sketch on. Whatever works.
  
• Knowing how to upload photos
  
• Photobucket account (or any place you can upload photos. Imageshack can upload images without an account)
  

You DO NOT need to have beautiful art skills in order to do this. In fact, the worse your picture is, the better. I can't tell you how many times someone interpreted another animal to be a dinosaur which then passes along to everyone else.... xd




How I am going to do it is this:

We are going to do this through PMs. When you are finished, everything you have done will be PMed to me in the order you received it. Then I will PM your "Paper" to you and post it in this thread (or you can, it doesn't matter).


PM: Player 1--->Player 2--->Player 3--->Player 4--->Player 5--->Player 6--->Player 1

Player 1------->PMs sentence to------>Player 2 and so on.


All players receive their sentence who then have to draw a picture of that sentence.

DO NOT SHOW THIS SENTENCE TO ANYONE!

Same thing happens. Only this time you will be passing along a picture. If you don't understand the picture, it doesn't matter. Describe it to the best of your ability. Don't ask the person what he or she drew (unless their is a problem with uploading the photo...). The more abstract, the better.

We then pass our drawing on to the next person who describes the picture through a sentence.

Then repeat.

By the end of it, I will ask everyone to PM all of their work to me in the order they received it (starting with your 1st sentence).

This sounds hilarious! I'm a Mac user with no MS Paint. However, I use a tool of great artistic precision called a "laptop trackpad" that should help me create the kind of drawings that you're looking for.

So sure, I'm in. x]

(I'll find something to draw on, even if it's just Oekaki or Facebook Graffiti or something.)

When we are done with the picture, confirm it here or through a PM to me and then we will send the picture.

ALSO: make sure you keep a record of all that you've sent out (there is no need to keep a record of what has been sent to you). That way we know what happens to your original sentence. xd I would put it on a notebook pad or something like it.
