I was wondering if any of you play sports. I personally play soccer, have played soccer for about thirteen years now. It's not only my favorite sport, but the one thing I'm good at. Also, it's my stress reliever. If I'm ever sad, or stressed, or even happy, I go and practice my skills.
So does anyone out there play a sport? What's your favorite sport?

I assume Aikido doesn't count as a sport, because it's not competitive. I was taught a little basket ball in the funny farm.

I think Aikido counts as a sport, it took training and discipline right?
Basketball is a sport I've never understood... mostly cause you use your hands I think

I wasn't taught much basket ball, myself. Only a little. I still don't understand it.

No sports for me.
I like hiking, and occasionally swinging rackets at little rubber balls and hitting them as hard as I can.
I wish I could hike every day, but the mountains aren't close enough.

I used to play basketball for my county, But I quit before christmas. I didn't really feel that I was a necassary part of the team. And I didn't like having to expose my arms and torso in vests and whilst changing. I still play basketball for my school, But we only play one or two games a year.
Its interesting to see an american or canadian (assuming from use of the word 'soccer') Not only accept soccer, But actually enjoy it.

I'd always had the preconception that it was looked down upon over there. I can see why it could be of course, I've viewed a couple of montages of people diving.
I'm not fond of it myself, But I love to watch talent in action.

Soccer, basketball, swimming, volleyball, all that good stuff.
Rugby is definitely my favourite though, but I had to give up sports altogether until my health improves.
I miss it alot, it was a great stress reliever. =)
