What is a man? Is he a killer, or a savior. Is he judged by what he is, or who he is. Such questions I have longed to answer but have none. As Lycans rampage over my lands, kill my people and plague the humans I still do not have an answer. Yet some times I glimpse it, when a women gives up her Lycan son to us in the heat of battle I can not help but take care of it. Because we help our sworn blood enemy and fight them, we are looked down upon by the other clans. I, Gregor Latverious, lord of the five ancients and survivor of the first great war shall forever be but a man!

The Great War
During the Roman era the first Lycans were born from the two founders of Rome. The wolf that had fed them was not a stranger to them, not at all, she was their mother. Romulus was firm about expanding the Lycan race but Remus was horrified by what he was and would have nothing to do with his brother's plans. Thus came the start of the Lycan empire, it was slow to rise but when a large amount of villagers began to disappear the five vampire lords took notice and sent their armies to investigate. What followed was a war that would last centuries, the losses on both sides would be terrible. The two notable warriors were Vicente Montonio and Gregor Latverious. Both spawned from the Celentia Vampire clan, these two men became leaders, and sworn brothers. In the fifteenth century Gregor became an Ancient and took over the Celentia clan and created his own, the Latverious clan. Vicente disappeared however, although it was rumored that he was working under a different name in a rival clan. Now the Latverious clan rules over the whole of Germany, or so they would like to say. Lycans control half in reality, and as of late, the Latverious clan has been struggling to keep their rising numbers at bay.

The Latverious Castle and Customs. The Castle lies in the middle of their territory, Berlin. It towers over all and seems to be stuck at night time. The clan colors of black, red, and white cover the castle inside and out. Guards are seen everywhere and man the defenses at all times. Gregor Latverious himself stays in the castle most of the time, if he isn't crusading at the time. In terms of the customs of the Vampires it is very important that every Vampire respects their higher ranks, or death is certain to occur. Other then that they are just like the people of their time period, and all humans are fair game for feeding. However, as the ranks go up, the more power one receives as a vampire, and anyone can increase their rank by pleasing their superiors.
The area around the castle is a bustling city filled with taverns and the like. It has a residential district, a trade district, and a commons where taverns and inns are in healthy supply.

Race: Just Lycans and Vampires, nothing else.
Status: As in what you do, such as soldier, townsperson, whatever.
Weapons: No guns and please no enchanted weapons, they get somewhat absurd.
Powers/Abilities: Lycans will most likely have abilities and Vampires powers, just know that a vampire family usually has one type of power, and there are many families that make up a clan, be creative. Also note that mages and the like will probably have more powers since they're, well, mages.
Personality: It can be as blunt or as descriptive as necessary.
Appearance: Written or a picture.
Bio: I ask that this be a decent length only so that people have an idea of what you may do and also this is a great reference for you to look at should you either need an inspiration of something to talk about or to simply react in the way your character should in a certain type of situation.
[/size] Note: Everyone is on one side, the enemy consists only of Lycans and maybe rival Vampire clans. Also note that Vampires tend to be racist against Lycans just and the same goes for Lycans towards Vampires, there is a reason they fight.

The screams of men, and the roars of monsters could be heard over the battle. Vampires were attacking the Lycans at a den they had made a few miles from castle. Humans had been caught in the struggle and Lycans used them to fuel their blood lust. The Vampires were being pushed back but then a soldier called out,
"Look! It's master Gregor! We are saved!"The Vampires became rallied at once and it seemed like they didn't need him to really push back the Lycans. Nonetheless Gregor Latverious came flying in and landed on a beta, then sliced its head of with his left sword.
"Forward men, victory shall be ours!"Gregor pointed forward with his right blade and the Vampires charged, roaring with strength. Gregor himself began dispatching Lycans left and right with his sheer skill. In a few minutes the Vampires had managed to push back enough for Gregor to see their alpha. He dodged under a sword and sliced a Lycan in half with one blade and stabbed another in the heart with the other. The alpha took notice and came charging forward like a savage beast. Gregor moved forward to the left side and slashed as the alpha charged forward slicing its legs off with one clean stroke. He then slashed its back with the same sword and when it hit the ground he quickly beheaded it and raised the head in the air. The men cheered with excitement and routed the Lycans and destroyed the den.
"Today was a grand victory men! I would like to see my officers in the castle for a meeting, that is all."Gregor spread his massive black wings and flew back to the castle to go back to his throne to await his officers.
