Freshez Vincent is the Vizard and Captain of the 7th Division in the Gotei 13. She is one of the oldest and most experienced captains, and is Soul Society's best Hand to Hand Combat.

Appearance

Freshez has the appearance of a very youthful woman with red eyes and black hair. She wears the standard Shinigami captain uniform apart from using an obi instead of the normal sash. Her hair is long and is always neat.
Unlike most Shinigami who carries their Zanpakutō in their sash, Freshez has a large string attached to the sheath of her Zanpakutō and carries it over her shoulder, or has her lieutenant Vexenz Nazuna carry it for her, whenever they are together on the battlefield.

Personality

Freshez has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. She is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty, shown in the times that she orders Vexenz Nazuna. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division and even her fellow Captains fear her.
Also according to the former captains of the 5th and 10th Division, respectively, she can be very frightening as the look on their faces implied they would never want to get on her bad side (they noted that being destroyed by Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai's Bankai would be a preferable fate). No one has ever disputed this fact, for she is an indispensable part of Soul Society and the Gotei 13 Squads.
Freshez likes strong flavored food, preferring it to bland tasting dishes. In her free time, she climbs mountains throughout Rukongai, during these excursions, she collects medicinal herbs. Once a month, she holds an ikebana class for the members of her division. She is also the President of the Ikebana Club (Flower Arranging Society.)

Flash Steps Expert : Her Shunpo is fast enough to keep up with the other captains when they were rushing to the scene of the conflict, albeit she seems slower than Shinji.

Highly Perceptive Combatant : During her fight with Starrk the 1st Espada, Freshez has shown to be very intuitive and can predict the actions an opponent may make and how to counter them.

Expert Hand-To-Hand Combatant : Despite the skill and power she has in her Zanpakutō, Freshez takes more pride in her hand-to-hand combat prowess, which can be seen in her physique. During Ichigo's transformation into a hollow, Freshez is able to knock him away at a good distance with just an elbow strike. She then dodges all of Hollow Ichigo's attacks, despite the latter's use of Tensa Zangetsu, and manages to kick him. The only times she uses Kannazuki in this fight are when she cuts Ichigo once and twice more to fire his spiritual energy.
Enhanced Durability : When Freshez was brutally attacked by a Hollowfied Kensei, with a spiritually charged attack at point blank range, she’s sustained only minor injuries and kept on fighting with no signs of faltering.

Kidō Master: As the head of the 7th Division, Freshez is known for her skills in the swordmanship of Kidō. While not her preferred style of combat, Freshez has high prowess in Kidō combat (being one of the strongest captains this is not surprising.) During her battle against enemy, she was able to effortlessly launch her opponent several yards away with a seemingly small blast from her finger similarly to Hadō spell #1

Immense Spiritual Power: As one of the oldest Captains in the Gotei 13, it is safe to assume that Freshez has tremendous spiritual power.

Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Although she has never been seen in battle, it is known that her personal speciality is sword fighting, including her particular mastery in the kendō style of fighting.

Flash Steps Expert: Freshez is proficient enough in this skill to be of the average level of speed possessed by a Captain. She is masterful in the art of Flash Steps as a captain. She notably makes a massive leap in Flash Steps within mere moments to remove Vexenz from the battlefield and return almost instantly, commended even by Yamamoto prior to battle. Freshez's skill is proficient enough for her to effortlessly dodge Starrk's attacks.


Zanpakutō

Kannazuki(肉雫唼, "Sakura From Heaven"): In sealed form, Kannazuki is slightly longer than an ordinary katana, and resembles a nodachi The guard has an oval shape and the handle is dark-blue. Instead of tying it to her obi, Freshez carries her Zanpakutō over her shoulder by a rope strap or lets Vexenz carry it for her. Her Zanpakutō is unique in that it exists as two completely separate swords, existing as a daisho sword pair, consisting of a katana and a wakizashi. Their cross guards are rectangles, with the corners cut off, decorated by a pattern of cherry petals and lines, and each sport a dark-blue handle.

Shikai: Its shikai command is “Sakura Slash Rage” ,“God Flower Eden”, and ”Heavently Swords”. Freshez sets the two blades against each other in a cross, then pulls before uttering the poem-like command. When the flash clears, Kannazuki has become a pair of huge, heavily curved black Chinese scimitars, with silver edges. The hilt and cross guards of each are still the same as they were in Katen Kyōkotsu's sealed-form, but now sport long red tassels dangling from the end of each

Shikai Special Ability: It is large enough to transport many people on its back (at least a dozen, based on its size when compared to those riding it). It seems to act on verbal orders and when landing it has the ability to somehow create a pair of Pheonix bird like legs. Kannazuki possesses the ability to manipulate wind, and fire seemingly through the swing of the blades. Kannazuki's main aspect is its ability to manipulate fire and wind.

Busho Dage : This technique causes tornado winds to flow from Kannazuki to envelope the target making slashes allows her to release transparent blades of wind to cut enemies from a distance. It appears to be extremely powerful, easily severing and killing a giant hollow.

Hifuki no Kodzuchi (火吹の小槌, Fire-Blowing Gavel): Freshez swings Kannazuki downwards and fire blows out from the tip of Kannazuki. The resulting blast is strong enough to cave in buildings near the center of the impact. But it is currently unknown what happens when the enemy is struck by this technique, since Starrk vanished before she could be hit with this attack.
