Hair: Long and white. It spikes out like a main going down his back, but is soft like the fur of a rabbit.
Skin: Dark brown, stained from years in the sun.
Physical Description: Tall with a very strong build. His muscles don't bulge, but have an unseen power behind them.
Clothing: He wears the traditional robes over his favorite outfit, a very long, well woven strip of black cloth wrapped just right in order to cover his torso, form an "x" over his stomach muscles, and act as underwear. He is rarely seen without his robes on, though.
Personality: He is very cold and tends to ignore those that he deems ignorant or unwise. He has no time for nonsense. When Hebiki feels there's no more need to stress, he relaxes in silence and solitude.
Zanpaktou: Tenma-Hebi(Demon Snake)
Sealed Zanpaktou: His blade looks like most others, but it is slightly longer and has a green tint when shining in the sunlight.
Shikai: Kaimen(Sponge)- His blade glows a bright green as if fresh from a mystic forge, and its length varies.
Ability 1: Kaimen will absorb spiritual energy around it, whether that be its wielder's or the world it touches. It will store this amassing energy as extra length or width to the blade. When absorbing spiritual energy from an enemy, the quality and amount of energy absorbed can be reduced by the opposing beings spiritual pressure.
Ability 2: Kaimen may also expel its energy in projectile pieces of itself. These pieces are as powerful as if Hebiki were to attack someone himself.
Bankai: Kemono Tsuin(Epic Beast)- The glowing blade extends and takes form as two snakes extending from the hilt. One is sky blue, the other a lightning yellow. The handle wraps itself around Hebiki's hand and wrist, keeping it from falling out of his hand during combat.
Ability 1: The blue snake has the same power as Kaimen before it, though its size is no longer definite and its ability to absorb energy is less hindered by spiritual pressure. The yellow snake is much faster than the other, though it has no special ability that hebiki knows of. It strikes fast with its powerful teeth.
Ability 2: Either snake will grow to an immense size, the hilt changing into a large rattle. The snake soars through the air, but has much less strength than its predecessors. Its speed is awe inspiring though, and it can use its own form of the flash step. Hebiki uses this form of Tenma-Hebi as a ride to places very far away.
Background: Though Hebiki hasn't much memory of his life prior to the soul society, he finds no need to. Acting as a Shinigami has been long life enough. When he was young, the shinigami was abandoned on the steps leading to the Sereitei. The guard, who had fallen asleep long enough for the event to occur, immediately gave the child to the former captain of Squad Six. The boy was raised to be tactful and smart, but on his twentieth year of training his heart was held hostage. A woman, whose name he claims he "can't recall", lured him from his life in the shell of the city. He lived free and wild, acting as a beast that the woman had thought he was.
After eight years, he was found by his captain. At that moment, Hebiki had lost all knowledge of society. . .became a snake hidden within the trees of the spirit world. A fight broke out, ending with the death of the former captain. This shocked his memory. After a year of uninterrupted mourning, he returned. The soul society, though hesitant, saw the horror and grief in his eyes. He was allowed back in as a foot soldier. Within five years,, his great abilities and proven loyalty soared him through the ranks. With a challenge for the seat, the replacement Squad Six Captain was removed from office.
Other: He has not seen the woman he fled his life for since he returned, but he dreams many nights of his wishes to see her.

shikai ability:Senbonzakura's blade separates into a thousand slender, tiny blade fragments, which then fly away from the hilt, leaving only the sword's handle in Byakuya's hand. The release can be negated before it completes, such as when Yoruichi Shihōin wrapped the blade in cloth during Byakuya's short battle with Ichigo. However, if the release completes itself, then Senbonzakura is rendered near-unstoppable. While the blades are supposedly too small to be seen normally, they reflect light in such a way as to appear as cherry blossom petals. By swinging Senbonzakura's hilt, Byakuya can control the blade fragments at will, allowing him to shred opponents at a distance and break through almost any defense.
bankai ability:is essentially a much larger version of Senbonzakura's Shikai. To activate it, Byakuya needs to drop his sword straight down. The sword phases into the ground, as though it were a pool of water. Energy ripples expand out, turning the surrounding area dark, and within seconds, two rows of a thousand giant blades rise up from the ground. Those thousand swords then scatter and countless flying blades pierce the enemy. No one knows the exact number of blades generated and no one can see the movements of those blades or even dodge them.The number of blades is great enough that Byakuya can use them for defense as well as offense at the same time. He commonly forms them into large masses, designed to obliterate opponents instantaneously. As it moves through the air like torrents of waves, it gives the appearance of cherry blossoms flowing swiftly along with the wind.Byakuya's defensive use allows him to cover himself entirely in these tiny blades, and form a body shield.Unlike his Shikai, his Bankai is entirely mentally controlled. While Byakuya can control the blades with his mind alone, using his hands allows him to do so more effectively, making the blades increase in speed three fold.Unlike his Shikai, his Bankai is entirely mentally controlled.
