The galaxy that contains both Old Earth and First Gaia two places that hold extreme significance for Draconia. It is a spiral arm galaxy that contains approximately 200-400 billion stars, with a diameter of 100,000 light years, a galactic halo that extends up to 200,000 light years from the central bulge, and a average density of 1,000 light years. It's galactic center harbors a supermassive black hole on the order of 4 million solar masses in size and is believed to have a central role in the formation of the galaxy.

All these facts aside the Milky Way is a dangerous place to live. No less then two dozen Star Nations vie for control of it and Draconia itself has holdings there. The Milky Way also houses the Star Empire of Gaia or at least the place where the former civilization of the Draconians met a violent end.
