To make this guild more interesting, I decided that we need some competition or something. I've thrown the gauntlet to anyone who wants to try their hand at graphics.
Anyone can enter; just create a composition on Gimp or Photoshop (or if you're brave...MS Paint...lol), and submit it in this thread before the deadline, listed below. We will have a voting thread afterward, and the winner will get gold/items.
Rules
1) Your piece must fit within a signature
2) Follow Gaia rules. No nudity/hentai is allowed.
3) One entry per person
4) You must use your work, and your work only. If you are caught plagiarizing, you will be disqualified.
5) One vote per entry (excluding yourself)
6) The deadline is Friday, January 9th. The contest will be held shortly after.
There is no entry fee for the first contest, but I will personally award the winner with some items. They won't be magnificent, but they're something.

Is there a theme? And are there any rules about what sort of source images we use?

For the first contest, there won't be a theme. I'm going to see how well it goes. If it's successful, I'll possibly have other themes. As for the restriction on what images can be used...lol...just follow Gaia rules. No hentei/nudity or anything like that, and you're fine. And don't steal work.
Time limit-I'm going to try and aim for the 5th or 6th of January, but I might just wait until we have plenty of entries. This thread needs to at least be noticed, instead of having only us three lol.
Oh, and in the future..I want to organize a prize system (again, if this thread is successful). Maybe we can have like a 500 gold entry, and the winner gets like..5,000 gold or something. Is that cool with everyone?

Whew! Here is my entry. My WoW druid 4laugh  That is a screenshot of the character I cut out. The back layer is separate and I adjusted the color curve of it. I added some rough grungy brush to it to make it look grainy. Added text and other various effects.

Yay! A submission. Here's mine.  Took me like 4-5 tries to get this project right, with gradient maps/styles, colors, and stock positioning. Let's see how it does in the contest smile
