Can't believe I just noticed that this thread has character bashing x_X Bah, I clearly stated in the Rules of this guild that I wanted to prevent any character bashing.

I find that I can't hate any character in Fruits Basket. Yes my favorite character is Yuki and I hate what happened to Yuki, it makes me sad to think about it. But still I can't bring myself to hate Akito ^^' there is a reason for the way he acts. I have seen the anime (and read up to vol.11) so I don't know the whole story. But to me his fate also looks sad and lonley. Maybe more than some and that is why he inflicts his pain onto others. So if I feel anything for Akito it would be sadness. (I know I know)

Yeah, I feel even more emotions for Akito now that I know even more about Akito's past, and relationships with other people from the past.

Akito has no moral level. To him he say that he had the right because Yuki belonged to him. All the animals he feels it to be there fault. He also feels as if he owns them. If one gets out of line the others are soon to follow. So he took Yuki's spirit and broke it. Now and forever becasue of this fear that he has he wont leave or do anything against him. This is bad because his brother Ayame would stay and Haru, Rin staying for Haru, and the younger animals would not have the will seeing as what happened to Yuki. THough in the end Akito is mean.

Akito is mean indeed but i do think he has feelings for others to but he doesnt like to show it much... much yes he does not like the oppoiste sex to love one another cause one turns into animals and the other ones does not. which i do think he is jealous of that point. cause the others finds someone they love and akito cant. so he wants to hurt everyone around them. sometimes he cares for himself but i do think he has feelings for others he just doesnt show it

they dont show enough of akito in the anime,it just makes him look bad sad
