"Sadly, it seems to be a common ailment. Almost every time I meet someone new, and they ask what I have, they always seem to have a family member who has it, or they know someone who has it." -Jenngem, when I told her about me not knowing somebody I knew mother's had Fibro
So, it would seem that fibromyalgia is much more common then I first thought. While this is terrible, it also means that there are plenty of people in the world who may not know if they have fibromyalgia. As they suffer, perhaps even being told that it is nothing more then psychosomatic, what thoughts do they have? How often do they think that they are alone, crazy, perhaps even worthless.
They need to know that there is only one thing wrong and it is nowhere nears their fault.
However, I’m not that great at spreading the word, as it were. So, if anyone here has suggestions on how to do so, other then by signature, please, tell us!
