The streets surrounding the castle run downwards into a spiral until they reach a large plateau where the royal gardens are situated.
Along side of the streets are plateaus where the living quarters of the Pearlaice are located. Around each plateau there are approximately five houses, or 'Shells', as the Pearlaice call them. The further down you go, the smaller the Shells are, although not uncomfortable. They are merely for single persons to live in. The closer to the castle, the larger they are, these are the places where the couples and the families are located.
Food is free and can be gotten from one of the foodstands in the Main street.
