Post here what aggravates you around this time. Besides a list of things I'm sure we'd all agree upon, that I'd like you all to post over time...

My first one to start this thread off?

24 Hours of A Christmas Story.

It has me saying more than "Fudge!"

Ralphie... Gah! 24 Hours of Boondock Saints. Now that's a good one. Hmm... That'd be a great thing to have around St. Patrick's Day... Oh yeah!

Ew, I was just talking about how much I disliked A Christmas Story Earlier today. Blaaaaaaaahgggg.

I also hate how fake my mom gets.
& opening presents is annoying.

I hate christmas music.
Except Ring Christmas Bells.

Consider it the one day a year for someone to save face and repent and you can't really say anything because you know someone that's a friend or relative that does it too. But come next Sunday seeing the hypocrites go to church... Game on! Just kidding.

Some Christmas music is pimp. Especially Nightmare Before Christmas music, haha. I like a few traditional songs, and Elvis doing his thing. Oh yeah, Elvis is tight. Haha.

I already told everyone this is my last Christmas Ever. The holiday spirit seems dead around my corner of the world, and I'm kinda happy to see it die. No more buying presents for people I barely like, No more decorating my piece of crap house, and best of all no more family members popping in for the holidays! Instead I will lock my doors, bar my windows and arm myself to the teeth as I await the return of Zombie Jesus.

I think I'm with you on the waiting idea. May want to have a few guns myself in case he is a zombie. Wait, zombie angels too? Oh man, we're Jewed...

Note: I mean no offense to honest Jews, it is a pun only.

Santa was saved, but Gaia is so bent on being PC that "X-Mas" replaces their call for a Gaia Christmas? My, how much Jesus offends people, even when the poor guy did nothing to any of these people personally. Makes me a little sad to be honest, aye.

So Santa is saved and he celebrates by eating cows...WTF?
I guess the lesson is that if cows knew how tasty they are, The'd probly eat themselves. At least thats what i take from this whole Gaian X-mas story.

And that Gaians are dumb enough to participate in any event Gaia sets forth. I made 73 damn presents thinking I'd earn something for contributing. Pfft. Saved Santa my arse. I did nothing but put one more meat eater back on the planet. Squirrel, this event sucked, haha.

Alas, my soul is heading to bed. Gute nacht freund.

I think I made like 80, if you add my other account to the mix.

My husband and I are currently in the works of figuring out what we want to do about Christmas. But from such an angle of a large change in one's life like this, I'm hating how obsessed people are getting about the commercialism of Christmas and just being hypocritical, accusing, and protective of this tradition.

I can understand why, not here to fight about it, but the whole ''Put the Christ back in Christmas'' VS. the ''Let's call it whatever we want and all other sayings during this time of year is WRONG!'' *blah-blah-blah*

Sure it can be a very relaxing day, everyone's at peace for the most part to be with family, and such forth but there is also a lot of issues going on.

So, there are some other Christian-related issues I have, but what it comes down to is our freedom of choice, verses tradition.

You say you don't want to celebrate or participate, the people and family around you start treating you like you're the black sheep.

And for what? Because you don't care to indulge in the selfish, commercialism, and self-indulgent aspects of the holiday season, on a day that isn't even accurate to coincide with the day that their Savior was born (which I can't complain too much about, we don't even know exactly what day he was born on, which is just fine)

It's becoming a new way of seeing it for me, still adjusting but since this thread was up, I thought I'd share how I've been feeling lately on it.
