I'm both tired and amused going at the marketplace to search for an item I want to buy and can also get in the shops, to find that the users sell it at an even higher price than the shop! WTF!!!
And sometimes when I want to sell an item which is available at the shops (so I can get half the price if I sell it there instead of the marketplace), most people sell it on the marketplace for half the price which is what they would get if the sold it at the shops anyways! Sometimes it's even lower than that! So I can't sell my item for a price between half and full price which is basically how it should work. You sell it more than what you can get for it at the shops, otherwise just sell it at the shops, but less than the full price so that users will prefer to buy it from you rather than the shop. Again.. WTF!!

Well... there are some people that are not so observant... and the rest are too young.

Depending on how much more it is, I sometimes do this to support Gaians by giving them gold instead of giving it to "The Gaian Man." Haha! I usually do it if it's no more than a few hundred gold more or so. Just like I won't always buy the cheapest available item listed even if it's something I want. Sometimes I go a little higher. I base this on usernames mostly. Weird system, I know, and they'll never know why I do it, but I do.

The economics of the Gaian marketplace just suck. What's worse is kids who have their parents buy them Gaia cash out the arse to get these MC's and cash shop items, only to turn around and sell them like they're candy and really jack the prices to either make them higher than they should be, or make items much lower in value than they should be. They've no real concept of it. Come to think of it... Hey, it's like the U.S. market! Go to a local grocery store and see how much items have raised in price over time, but not necessarily value. Paying more for the same amount of an item this year than you did last year. Bollocks!

I was trying to buy four of the mecha form items, to make the full suit. I went to buy the first two from the market place they were 14 k. My sister gifted me one 'cause it was on my wish list and said it was 12k. Today I sold my last sellable zOMG ring and got enough to buy the last piece, and the Mecha form is back up to 14k!

That much flux in price is annoying. I don't see how anyone can predict when prices will change.
If you have any pointers i will listen.
