Who here thinks this game was a total waste of time? Ah, but whatever. I wanted to say is how hard this game is compared to the original. Since all they did was change the water, physics and AI. The AI are super good compared to their old counterparts. And since the marines now act as squads and communicate with each other, they still retained their ridiculous health, without being dumb as crap. They also gained telescopic vision, so they can shoot you wherever you are. You have absolutely no freaking cover, it's really annoying, and don't even get me started about the black ops.

That's what everyone thought when they released it. But in fact all they did was update some coding, the only graphics that changed was the lighting and the water.
You're thinking of Black Mesa: Source.

i guess it might be brutal to some ppl..........well at least it will give the ppl who want a challenge a challenge.but i wished on something like killing the marines with another marine's body(as in the body dropped from a tall cliff and landed on another marine(which should kill him) and so on).

Well Im going to get the game since Im getting the Complete valve pack. But Im sure Half life will be funner for me since I like old games. And Black mesa I will love since its a remake and not a update.

Just finished that game and it was my first time playing Half Life so I didn't know if it was harder or not, but oh god the black ops people are impossible! Other than that it rocked
also someone mentioned Black Mesa Source......I wish that would come out!!!!! grrr

I don't like anything remade that much because the original Half Life was good as it was and it can never be changed..It will always be the original best than the remade one.
