Background: Kael Aetherius Angelas was born on the Destiny Islands to a loving mother and father, along with a twin brother and twin sister. When Kael was young, he made many friends and trained under his father in the way of the Spellsword, a powerful spell casting sword fighter. A day before his 16th birthday, Kael was given the Destiny Runeblade, a large 9.5 broadsword which was made of an alloy that allowed Kael to wield it in one hand. Then, the next day.. his entire family disappeared and Kael set off to find them. After a few days of searching the Destiny Islands for them, Kael was set apon by strange black creatures and he found his sword was ineffective against them. And for some reason, before he was about to be killed, his sword transformed into a strange weapon and allowed his to destroy the creatures. Now, Kael was sent to protect the worlds from darkness along with finding his family

This keyblade was originally the Destiny Runeblade, which Kael's father gave to him before his family disappeared. In a battle against strange creatures, his sword somehow transformed into this keyblade, and allowed him to destroy the creatures, who were actually heartless. This sword can easily channel and store Kael's magical energies, allowing him to use his magical energy to inflict more deadly blows to his enemies. Kael's sword was about 9.5 feet long in length and he could wield it in one hand due to the weight of the metal that the sword was forged out of, and the same thing goes for Kael's keyblade, allowing him to strike further in close combat compared to other Keyblade Wielders.
