the rule for inclusion in the NT is that the book be written by an apostle or at least someone close to the apostles; Revelation was NOT written by the apostle John or anybody close to him, it is very late, the last Bible book to be written.

Ezekiel said that each generation would be judged by their own sins, not the sins of there fathers. So of course Jesus would say even more so!
