Until someone makes one about technology. Then I'm totally moving into there. : D
Speaking of technology, I just bought my laptop a polarizing filter. It was $65, would you believe that? Oh, but it's great, works just as advertised and I'm sure it'll come in handy, and unlike the last one, it actually fits the screen. And it's glossy. It makes blacks pretty again. And if I hold it up to white light, I can actually see the striations in the material! It's neat.~

Yeah, I was actually supposed to have it a few weeks ago but there were some mix ups in the store's catalog and I ended up with the standard size one, instead of the widescreen one, so I had to wait even longer to get it because of the exchange. Ah well, at least I'll be able to go in with cool new stuff next semester. Works out better than having it for only one week this semester and everyone already knowing about it, I think.
The thing that sucks with laptops is that there's very little you can do to upgrade them that's visible and gives you bragging rights. Now that I have one of those things, I'm not sure what else to buy. I was thinking a media battery but those are really expensive. D: Any suggestions?

I don't have any video card upgrade paths, I already have the best chip available. I could still add 2GB of RAM, but I barely use what I have now, so it would probably just be a waste of money. Mind you, I'd have to strip one of my current modules so I could probably sell that and make a little cash back.

It's a Quadro, an absolutely amazing engineering-oriented card. Perfect for the hobby CAD work I do. Doesn't work so well for gaming though. xP
When I tell people I have a Quadro they always ask how well it runs so-and-so game. Not so well of course, so I've heard more people go "oh, average then?" NO! Just no one's ever interested in what it's really built for. >__>

If Dell had a new D620 Quadro available, it would be mine! Too bad my model is already 2 years outdated and the manufacturer has moved on. D:
Now what I really want to upgrade is my server. But I've already reached the upgrade cap. The system can't accept anything newer/more than what's already in there! gonk Oh, what can I buy!

Yeah. It's actually kind of sad too. I'm used to spending more money on my computers than on myself. And now I don't know what to buy them for Christmas! I don't even celebrate Christmas!
