Please only post anything about KOD in this Topic so as to not ruin it for those of us who will not ba able to get the book until some time after the release date (like me) So if you don't want the biggest spoiler in histiory I recommend reading no more if you haven't read the book.

Wow, looks like I get first post here. Surprising since I haven't really posted here much at all since I got invited sweatdrop
Anyhow, I just have one remark to make that I think I've made everywhere possible (just so that I don't get too upset over it). I can't believe that Semirhage got captured and shielded!!! I mean come on... she's the best Forsaken there is without a doubt, and I think she's the best character period. And she's captured... it's just... awful crying
And okay, I'm done for now.

Finally got my hands on the book at (after currency conversion) US$15, muahahah. It has a different cover, it being another publisher.

Im waiting till the paperback comes in....im not gonna spend like 30 bucks for the hardback...especially when all my other copies are paper...and i dont have 30 bucks.....so yea....

Platinum_Behemoth252 Im waiting till the paperback comes in....im not gonna spend like 30 bucks for the hardback...especially when all my other copies are paper...and i dont have 30 bucks.....so yea.... And you couldn't resist coming in here to read all them spoilers, ya? The Orbit edition of the book is paperback (big print though) sans the illustration. at page 285, we have already found out that this and that, go and buy the book, PBlol, and I thought that Dragon Eggs was a Min and Rand Chapter *cough COUGH!*

Mine's in Paperback...
Well, I've just finished the book, gonna read one more time and come up with a review for it.
Hmm...it does seem like Demandred is in the Black Tower.
Taim's words to Pevara and Co. indicate that:
-Taim is dead and has been replaced by Demandred
-Taim has been Demandred all along
-One of the stupid toadies is Demandred
Oh well. The pace of the book was kinda fast, with plot points getting wrapped up left, right and centre. It was very interesting reading from Tuon's point of view for a change, and Mat having dialogues like 'Toy said' haha!
Semirhage! You pathetic piece of ***!!!!
Jahar never struck me as flamboyant, now he does with that "Remember Eben Hopwill!" business. Now why am I not surprised that Karldin Manfor got bonded by Beldeine?

How did you get a Paperback edition? The only ones I saw tonight were the hardcover. And I skimmed the book, so I know exactly what words you are talking about. {Something to do with book Six.} But he CAN'T have been Demandred all along. Remember the Cleasing of Saidin? Demandred spotted one of Taim's first students and didn't know he was an Asha'man.
Still haven't gotten the book from the library though. I don't even know if it's come in there yet, or if it HAS come in and someone else reserved it first.

Mine's from a different publisher, Orbit Books. It also means the book has a different Cover Art. It cost half of the hardbound edition.

It's a British Publisher. Go to a store where they sell those kinda stuff. After conversion, I'd say that mine cost about US14.50 or something. It has the Great Serpent/Wheel of Time emblem as the Cover. ( I don't live in the States, mind you. I'm halfway around the world in Singapore) I like Mat's new title: Prince of the Ravens. Egwene's my role model Nynaeve was ~*woah*~ I'm starting to think Romanda's actually a good person. Mazrim Taim's last remark "Let the lord of chaos rule." was echoed since LoC by Demandred, Sammael and Semirhage. Dead ringer? Well, Demandred is definitely in the Black Tower. But who? Rand's hand: Is Min's vision from Elayne(?) fulfilled? Where are the rest of the BA Liandrin took out of the White Tower? Captured recently are Chesmal, Temaile, Marillin, Falion and that other ex-brown sister. Asne was killed by lightning. We know that Liandrin's being held by Suroth as a da'covale. Joiya and Amico were killed by Isam/Luc in Tear, Ispan was executed by Carean(BA). That leaves who else and where?

Well, this IS a thread made for the discussion of the new book. And of course there are bound to be spoilers. If you don't want to see them, don't come in.
Well, here are the remaining ones of Liandrin's thirteen and their original Ajah. But I don't know where they are.
Rianna, a White. Jeaine, a Green. Berylla, Unknown Ajah.
The other Brown must have been Eldrith Jhondar. And I suppose Elayne's crew captured the Ones you mentioned? Since, at last update, they were all in Camelyn.
