I've been looking into lots of music lately... I'm wondering what kinds of music just makes all of you really feel God with you. Around you, with in you. One song that really pulls at me is Kutless': Smile. I recommend anyone that wants, please listen to it... it's very thought invoking.

Well... I don't know if it makes me think about God... But definitely Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" Such an amazing piece of music... Same thing with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"

I mean on a spiritual basis. Some music is good for the soul. It's like food, it's not as good as fellowship, but sometimes we can get a lot out of certain music.

As far as songs that get me to thinking and bring a tear to my eye, it would have to be "The Day He Wore My Crown", "It Made News in Heaven", etc.

Songs like this: More Than EverNo wasted words in those lyrics. and this: Yes I Amwhich is really a song about death and the hope we have for afterwards! Our true best life is in the next one, not here, and this song cheers me up when I'm depressed.

I find songs with good messages are fine and dandy, but the songs that bring us close to God, or make him feel near are the type that talk about him. Thats the type of Spirtual 'soul food' that people tend to talk about. In a sence, there are really two types of Christian music, one is Worship and one is 'good intention' I. (I personally like both, but the ones that get me feeling like God is really close are the ones in the worship list, the other ones are ones I personally just enjoy, and they tend to get me feelin pumped, kinda like a youth retreat biggrin . If your bored one day, go check them out, they're good) *get ready for the list, and yes, its long lol*
