***So while being sick in bed with yucky lung problems, which I still have by the way, I got bored and wrote a pokemon fanfic, I would like it if you didn't comment on this page because I am going in chapters, I hope that you guys like it***
Characters:
Melon Valentine:
A very energetic girl with a wild imagination, she has a very vast and impressive collection of pokemon, but doesn't really have a set battle style and that either helps her or costs her the battle, she tends to make things up as she goes along. The pokemon always at her side is her 3rd pokemon a trusty Absol who is very protective of her.
Hiro Komishi:
Prefers healing pokemon and contests to battles but, he is very skillful in battle and uses many different and surprising tactics, he doesn't really have a vast collection of pokemon and tends to catch only the ones that suit his needs or that he feels need a trainer. His impish Luxray is always up for a good battle or contest.
Ivan ???:
A Dark and mysterious person, well at least that is what he wants you to think despite his non expressive nature and him always accidently having a good time, Ivan is a good friend to both Melon and Hiro. He likes using alot of flair in his battles and loves to confuse with illusions, he favors speed and Sp. Attack. the three pokemon he tends to use the most are Persian Alakazam and Sycther.
Van Doogan:
A shy and softspoken young trainer who LOVES his mudkip, but mudkip is a baby and isn't old enough to partake in battles. Van Doogan likes to use sheer strength and when you see his pokemon in action you will understand why.
yOtOkA:
This young girl is very skilled at pokemon contests, taking the stage with Bayleef, Wartortle, Ninetails, Flygon, Clefairy, and Skitty. She has a talent that can't be ignored. Not much is known of her personality she the group only runs into her at Contests and Big Cities, but she seems to have a thing for shopping since she is always wearing something new when they see her.

"aaaaah Hiro! is it ever going to stop raining, I wanted to go to the beach while we were here in Cinnabar Island" Melon whined to her friend, Hiro sighed and looked out the window, He had wanted to go the beach too, but whining about it wasn't going to do any good. Hiro looked over to see Ivan snoozing in the chair. "Doesn't your Absol need more training for that gym battle, it's shadow claw seemed a little weak, considering that it just learned that move it might be good to practice despite the weather" Hiro suggested to Melon hoping to get her out of the motel room so he wouldn't have to hear her whine anymore. "ooooh yeah, that would be a great idea" Melon jumped up and dashed out the door, absol following close behind.
Later that day Hiro paced around the room the storm was only getting worse and Melon still wasn't back. "IVAN!!! WAKE UP!!!" Hiro Bellowed, "we have to go find Melon she hasn't come back yet" Ivan peered over his glasses, "she'll come back don't worry, you know as well as I do that Absol would not let anything happen to her" Hiro knew that Ivan was right but he still wanted to go look for her, so off into the pouring rain he went. "idiots" mummbled Ivan as he dozed off again.
Melon moved closer to absol and clutched the small bundle tighter trying to keep it warm. "damn it Hiro" she muttered under her breath. But at the same time she was glad that he had told her to come out into the storm or else this poor baby pokemon she had found would have had to fend for itself. "I wonder what type of pokemon you are, to bad I left dex at the motel" the small pokemon looked adoringly at her.
