The army reach the river by nightfall, and decided to make camp there and then find a way across the next morning... hopefully. The Blood Knights broke out of rank and file and then began setting up tents, and sentries around the camp. Most soldiers stayed with there units, as they would become like brothers in the coming days. Valen did not have a tent, and refused to bunk with someone else, he liked to lie out beneath the stars.

The Blood Knights awoke as soon as the first rays of sunlight began shining through the clouds. Most of them were busy breaking camp, and others were sent up and down the river looking for a good place to cross. Valen went to the outskirts of the camp and found a messenger Raven. He got a piece of paper and wrote a note to Tira and Dar on it. When he was done with it he rolled it up, gave it to the Raven, and sent it on it's way. Valen could never understand how, but those messenger Ravens always knew where they had to go. After that was done he went and rejoined his Unit.

A officer walked up to his unit. "We need you to explore the river and find a suitable place for us to cross. It can't be any deeper than 3 feet."

He waded into the water, "looks good, we may have trouble getting some supplies across, but they aren't that important, we can send them the long way around if necessary." He got out of the water and turned back to Kraith, "good work. We want you and your unit to go ahead of the force now and meet with those at Kensrowe Pass, if the army there is ok then stay, if they have been defeated do not engage the enemy at all and return to us at once."

(You can control the other 9 people in your unit from now on until this war is over or they are dead. They will all be assassins and lightly armored like yourself.)

Kraith, Rori, and the rest of the unit quickly left. They took the most direct past to Kensrowe Pass, through the mountains. There they would have strength in most spots in the shade. They tried to stay in the shadows and as high up the mountains as possible. They ran past many of the mountains without detecting any enemies. After getting about half-way there they ran into trouble. Three arrows were shot at the unit. Luckily, none of them hit anyone. Just as they discussed, the unit immediatly darted off in different directions to confuse the enemy. Kraith had took note of the wind direction and the path of the arrow. He pulled out his bow and shot in the exact opposite of the first arrows path. He then heard a muffled scream and then a thud. He put away his bow and pulled out his sword. He ran to where this occured to find one dead ork and three live ones.

He lunged at the middle ork and cut it's head off. He heard the swish of an arrow and a dying scream. Then turned around to see one of his unit members slicing the throat of the last ork. "What were they doing out here?" Kraith asked his members.

All of them gave him a quick shrug. "We better get out of here before the wreak of death sets on us. No one eat anything, so we can't be tracked."

"I'm hungry though, Kraith!" One of his members cried out. Kraith took out a sandwhich and handed it to him. "Eat this. It's all I brought though." The vampire quickly scarfed it down and off they went. There was a quick howl and then another dying scream. Rori dragged a body out of the bushes a minute later. "Well. It's a good thing Rori was here. Now let's get going." With they they all took off, and quickly.

After an hour they reached a steep mountain. Rori and Kraith flew to the top to check the other side. Kraith signaled the rest of the unit to come. It was starting to turn dark and they had just reached Kensrowe Pass. They went down to the other armies discussed battle tactics with the generals. Everything was alright with them. They went to bed and in the morning started deploying defense systems.

By the time Rae landed it wasn't very soft.

Ikzer's fingers had blisters that had been rubbed raw. He hadn't wnat to stop playing because Rae was so tired. So he had suffered thorugh it until she had landed.

Ikzer jumped off quickly as soon as she landed. "You okay?"

Rae nodded and slumped over to the tunneled entrance of her cave. "All my treasure is to the left. But I have a room that I carved out to the right. It has only one bed... and some books and all that. AND some treasure." She glared at them all with her sharp large eyes. "I'll notice if anything is missing."

She meant most of it but she owuldn't have broguht them here if she didn't at least trust them a little. But it was still hard on her. A dragons worries were to be killed over thier treasure or have it taken from them while they were still alive.

Raetherstria was still out of breath. "I don't think chaning into a human is a very good idea right now my woudns hurt alot and I don't ahev the energy so I will stay out here. You can use the room." It was true but she was also protecting her lrarger chamber from them as well by laying down in front of its entrance.

She was sure however that she would be sleeping heavy tonight and they could sneak in there if they wanted to. "I'll let you see it tomorrow."

Rae opened an eye at Tira's comment about gold being overrated. She personally didn't agree. People would not look for dragon treasures if they thought the same as well. But Rae was quite fine where she was and even smirked as Tira jumped on her bed. But after that Rae fell into a deep sleep. She was exhausted form the trip to her cave.

Ikzer gave a small smirk at Tira when she glarred at him about the bed. "That fine I enjoy a nice comfy pack as my pillow and my own blanket." He pulled a blanket out of his pack and laid it out. Then got up and went to Rae unpacking the gold armor and other trinkets they picked up along the way. Setting it beside her paw as she slept.

Returning to his own place on the ground he laid on his back and looked at the ceiling a bit before going to sleep.
