X X X X respect and often tends to act rather "princessy". She likes to look at things from a simple and practical perspective,
X X X X which can sometimes make her seem a bit dense, but she's actually very intelligent, if a little unorthodox. She isn't
X X X X embarrassed easily at all, but is bothered by the oddest things. Quick to insult and likes to give off a "tough girl"
X X X X attitude, she's a lot more caring than she gives off and when out of her element can revert to more girly reactions.
X X X X She has a very short temper and starts fights easily, loving to be the instigator but always avoiding making the first

X X X X Ethan's biological mother died in childbirth. It was when he was about one when his father, Derek, was traveling with
X X X X him and stumbled upon Illuminati. Within a year he was married to the Queen, and in another two their first child
X X X X was born; Raine. Of course, his father's union with Zhandi wasn't exactly welcomed. Many of the elves looked
X X X X down on Derek and little Ethan because they were human, and thought that it was an impure mixture that was more
X X X X or less a disgrace to their Great Isle. Ethan had to grow up with this criticism his entire life; and was very covetous
X X X X of Raine's seemingly exempt lifestyle, since no one dared criticize the heir to her face.
X X X X Despite the elves' distaste for him, Zhandi arranged for Ethan to be taught magic. Over the years he was taught one
X X X X of the few magics that even humans possess naturally, and he proved to be especially skillful at it. Thankfully that
X X X X was one thing that he could rub in Raine's face- she always had trouble with any magic, despite her elfin blood, and
X X X X yet he had it easy.
X X X X Two years ago, after the death of Zhandi and Austin, Derek was overwhelmed with grief, and killed himself. Ethan

X X X X where the other demons could watch in wonder as flames danced up and down his arms harmlessly before shooting
X X X X craters in the ground with their intense heat. He wasn't so hasty to show his skill once a full-out battle broke out on
X X X X Magmus island. Apparently, the resident big-shot demon had been taken out, and the rest were squabbling over who
X X X X would take his place. He knew if he was considered more able than others he would be forced further into the fray,
X X X X and so he attempted to disappear altogether during the onslaught. His nature made this near impossible, but he
X X X X lasted most of the battle without having to do anything. Only towards the end did he find himself in trouble with some
X X X X other demons who'd caught his trail and found him. They attempted to kill him, but they also underestimated him so
X X X X greatly because of his species and the fact that he was running, that he completely decimated them without much
X X X X thought. After this, he began to gain more courage and more faith in himself, but most importantly more of a
X X X X bloodlust. He found that he rather enjoyed killing, and when the war finally ended, it took him quite a while to shake
X X X X himself out of that frame of mind. He finally managed to cool down, and has spent the last few centuries of his life
X X X X returning back to his old habits. He's kind of liked the down time despite himself, and has been taking advantage of

X X X X Dimitri and Markell not only act completely opposite, they basically look opposite as well. The most obvious
X X X X example would be their hair- Dimitri's is a deep red color, about shoulder length, and falls about in untamed, more
X X X X rugged style. His eyes are almost a matching shade of red, if not a bit brighter. He is several inches taller than his
X X X X brother, and more visibly muscular. He wears simple, practical clothing that is focused more on comfort and ease of
X X X X movement than anything.
X X X X Markell has a slightly childish appearance, despite having a similar build to any average eighteen-year-old. He is a
X X X X bit short compared to some his age, but not much. He's very lean, and has smooth, fine features. He has a brilliant
X X X X pair of deep blue eyes, only slightly obstructed by his long bangs that are a few shades lighter of the same color.
X X X X His hair is closer to an aquamarine/teal shade, and falls about a third of the way down his back, though he almost
X X X X always has it pulled back. He tends to wear simple but refined clothing, such as tunics and half-cloaks.

X X X X A bit dense but for the most part protective to his little brother Markell, Dimitri's stubborn nature is one of his most
X X X X prominent traits. Almost the total opposite of Markell, Dimitri has a sharp temper and can get easily angered. He
X X X X can also be completely ignorant at times, and insists mostly on keeping Markell safe, never leaving his brother's
X X X X sight unless he has to. He doesn't mind getting into fights; in fact he'll encourage it if he can. He tries to keep all his
X X X X emotions (besides anger) within him, acting strong even when he's is cornered. He doesn't show much fear, and
X X X X tries to disprove many of the things his younger brother may over-dramatize. Dimitri can seem like a bully towards
X X X X Markell, but he's only trying to make him stronger. Dimitri can give off an evil dark aura about him, and is usually
X X X X straight-faced if not glaring. Dimitri is unstable despite his age, and has much less control over his vampiric side
X X X X than Markell. He doesn't care what others think about him. Deep down he idolizes his younger brother's intellect.
X X X X A little too cutesy for a vampire, Markell still acts much like a child. He's stubborn, naive, immature and whiny. But for
X X X X the most part, he's just an optimistic individual who's too nice for his own good. However he has very low self-value or
X X X X self-esteem. He is a bit of a bookworm (well really, he's a genius with a mind like a sponge.) and enjoys studying
X X X X history, literature, and different forms of magic. He's pretty clumsy, often tripping or accidentally breaking things, and
X X X X isn't really a person you'd want coming to your aid in a fight. He isn't the most courageous person around at all. In
X X X X fact, he's a total wimp and is really easy to scare. For the most part it's only mild panic attacks, but his most
X X X X prominent fears are his claustrophobia and pyrophobia. He has a very wild imagination, and oftentimes completely
X X X X over-dramatizes things, deciding on the worst possible solution and freaking out about it as though it were certain to
X X X X happen. Because of his fears he is very clingy with Dimitri. He looks up to his brother as his protector, and idolizes

X X X Biography
X X X X When Markell was 18 and Dimitri 20, their town was ravaged by vampires and set ablaze. Markell had been in the
X X X X house that the two brothers shared when he caught wind of the fire, and managed to escape their home before it
X X X X burned down. He knew Dimitri had gone out earlier, and in a panic he set out to find him, frantically calling his
X X X X name. A few minutes later, he found himself face to face with not his brother, but one of the vampires that had
X X X X attacked them. Before he could even move, he was knocked unconscious. His last human memory was waking up
X X X X for a moment, his vision blurry but awake enough to tell he was tied to something. He lifted his head and saw none
X X X X other than Dimitri. He was so relieved that he was okay, but then a sharp pain in his gut caused him to shout out
X X X X and slowly pass out again, thinking he was going to die. The vampire had stabbed him, and tossed him to the
X X X X ground in front of Dimitri, who had actually been turned into a vampire himself only minutes ago. He was given an
X X X X ultimatum- turn Markell or let him bleed to death. In an agonizing moment, he chose the former, unable to stand
X X X X there and watch his little brother die.

X X X X of them. Before long she took them in as part of the royal family. Markell grew to love it at the castle, and Dimitri

X X X X demon got so desperate that he finally cast up a wall of ice between the two of them. Vladimir laughed, knowing he
X X X X could easily tear down this wall and devour the demon...
