I'm planning on doing a science based degree. Veterinary science to be exact.... My next two choices are animal based and then if it all fails then my next option will most likely be Nursing. If THAT falls through then I'll probably choose biomedical science.

I'm hoping to do a double degree of Arts and Journalism, followed by a post-grad study in Writing, Editing and Publishing.

I'm in the middle of my Software Engineering degree. This basically involves designing and writing (programming) software, plus a few other knowledge based things.
Thinking about maybe masters or phd. Haven't really decided yet.

My girlfriend is in uni, and she still doesn't know what she wants to do. My father has just done the half-century and he doesn't know what he wants to do. razz I say just chill, and go with something that you like.

Noone knows what they want to do in Year 9. Some people have ideas on what they want to do, but change their minds constantly.
I wouldn't stress. What I wanted to be changed 20 or more times when I was in high school, and I became none of those things. The most important thing is to make sure you're good with all the key subjects (maths, science, english, social studies ect) so when you do make up your mind, you've got all the marks you need.
That way, you don't need to stress now about picking a career.
For me, the job I do actually requires college education, but I managed to get the position without doing any of that. All I have is High School, but eventually I want to take some courses on running a business so I can start my own business on the side of my normal job.

Just some advice, you're better off doing two or three sciences (in TEE) and the highest maths you can do well in because that pretty much opens doors to everything.

King Of Ninjas I'm going into first year Primary Teaching at Deakin next year. Deakin. Very nice. I have a few friends that also go there. As for doing the highest math and science, unless you want to get into engineering (which people are usually fairly decisive about) you don't really need anything more then the medium level maths. In high-school, I found that it was best to do the things that you enjoy. If you enjoy them, chances are you will score higher in them. Having a higher score (ENTER here) when you finish high-school is better then doing high level maths and science courses that you score worse in.
