The final rays of the brilliant sun seeped through the flimsy fabric of curtains, as the scene opened on a young man stepping into view out of the corner of what appeared to be an ornately decorated library.
Centered in the middle of the library was a woman with long red hair in what appeared to be an old fashioned gown. With a slight tip of her head, she lifted a hand, one black-tipped nail beckoning the young man forward.
The man approached on lazy footsteps, before dropping to one knee, his head inclined just slightly. Whomever this woman was, she held obvious sway over him, apparent most when he addressed her with a soft voiced query of "Yes, Mistress?"
"I have something I need you to take care of." The woman inclined her head, a slow smile creeping across the fair features that compromised her enchanting visage.
"How may I accommodate you this day?" His quiet response, as his head lifted, green eyes piercing into hers, seeming to pin her to the chair for a moment before she herself shifted, and made a dismissive wave.
"I need you to go take care of something for me," She smiled. "And I need it taken care of in an expedient and efficient manner. I don't want loose ends, and I don't want this traced back to me, do you understand?" One eyebrow canted upward ever-so-slightly, and the smile faded from her face.
"Of course, Mistress." He inclined his head. "It will be as you so desire it."
The man rose then, pivoting on the balls of his feet, and walking back toward the corner, where he vanished in a thin haze of mist.
Something wicked Mahora's way comes.
