Grown out of the introduction thread and the "traditional" drinking of Pabst Blue Ribbon...I give you the drinky-drinky thread.

I guess this is more of a focus on those of us who are of a legal drinking age, whatever that may be where you are, but I guess that those who *aren't* of legal age can put their 2 cents in...be it non-alcoholic (DEW!) or alcoholic (you rebel, you) in nature...

What's your favorite chill drink...you know, what you reach for when you're in a club or bar or at a weekend listening to the band?

--

Mine would be a local brew or Yuengling draft.

1. great thread

2. Hard question, but at shows lager is the stuff and depending on where the show is the label changes. But a favorite lager is Miller or any japanese lager. Those japs know what they brew.
At a club or bar I prefere ales or bitters.

Ahh...I hadn't considered the implications of shows versus clubs or bars. I guess I need to revise my preferences...

Shows-- Something that's easier to yell at the bartender, so Yuengling draft.
Clubs-- Strangely enough, I prefer mix drinks at clubs, like Red Deaths or Tequila Sunrises, though the occasional bottle gives me something more substantial to hold onto.
Bar-- Local draft all the way. If it isn't to my liking (it usually is), I'll go back to a lager. I do like Kirin Lager when it's available, and Delerium Tremens (the Belgian ale, not the ethanol withdrawal) is excellent.

I'm also a fan of absinthe, but, due to the prior regulations in the US, I was pretty limited in my consumption to whenever I could get a bottle...so that's a chill drink for the after party. I haven't really had much since after the distillation ban was lifted last year...

And also at shows I do not realy care for the taste and it so easy to shout "one lager" to the bartender.

I do like som drinks, Gin and Tonic would be the only one, but it's a nice drink.

And yes, Belgium is a great beer country over all, same with the states with all the small breweries.

Shows: Free water, it's too expensive to buy booze at gigs.
Bars: Malibu and coke, the cheapest whiskey and coke.
Clubs: Vodka and red bull, jagerbomb, WKD, whiskey, shots

Everclear.

I'm actually not old enough to legally drink. I'm 20, 21 in February.

It's ok...you know what they say..."if you're old enough to die for your country, you should be old enough to drink." I'm a firm believer that if the drinking age was lowered, we'd have a lot less problems with alcohol with college-age folks.

For beer, the Boston boy in me says Sam Adams, but I can always go for Saporro(I probably spelled that wrong). Other than that, I love White Russians, Pearl Harbors, Rum and Coke. Jesus Christ, I guess theres nothing I dont like lol
