Titan A.E.
Return of the Drej

Story

The stories of Earth are generations old now. . . Everyone who tells it, tells a slightly variated version. For example, this is what my grandmother told me. . .

A long time ago, Earth was whole. However, one day, the Drej attacked. She was never clear as to why they attacked, however, I've heard from others it had something to do with a ship (which supposedly became this planet. What a load, huh?) that some gearhead made.

Anyway, Earth was destroyed and the Titan escaped and was hidden away.

Apparently, some guy finds some kid who happens to have a map to the Titan, then this epic adventure ensues with things going wrong just in time for the team to fix them up and be on there way.

Anyway, in the end, they win. They single handedly destroy and entire race and restore their planet, only to name it Bob (Or as most of us called it, "Earth" or "New Earth".)

Thus is the story of how Planet Bob came to be. . . But only the beginning of how it ended.

Titans were produced in numbers and sent off to every corner of the universe to create more planets for Humans to call home. However, 200 years later, the Drej made a recovery and returned with a vengeance. The Drej began destroying human planets without warning and soon there was but one left. Its inhabitants evacuated and it seemed everything had come full circle.

However, when Planet Bob, the last of the human planets was destroyed, it was not the end. . . Hidden, like the original Titan, were three others. And for each Titan, a ring was given to a child by their parents. These rings were the maps. The maps that would lead to the survival of the human race, but the Drej would not give up easily. . . Our story begins fifteen years after the Return of the Drej.

Human

Name: Seth Kaskin
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:
-Height: 6' 3
-Weight: 204 lbs
General Description: Seth is a tall, strong-built due to his work on the Salvage Yard. Seth has dark brown-nearly black short hair styled off to the side and chestnut green eyes. He wears a green-brown Salvage Yard jump suit with the upper half tied around his waist, a black t-shirt, and bulky black work boots.
Equipment: Blaster Pistol, Combat Knife
Brief Bio: Walter Kaskin was a bright young man who quickly worked through university and found his place in the world. With the help of many other bright minds, Walter helped recreate a Titan, like the one that created New Earth, Planet Bob.

After many years of tireless work they succeeded and produced several fully functional Titans which later became planets. Additionally, should those new planets succumb to the same fate as Earth, Walter and two other Titans' were created and hidden, each with a map encrypted within a ring, just like the original Titan.

A few years past and Walter found the woman of his dreams, a fellow scientist. The two gave birth to a baby boy who they named Seth. Seth lived a happy carefree life, until shortly after he turned six. The Drej had returned.

The Drej began destroying planets, and eventually made their way to Planet Bob. Walter and his wife brought Seth to the escape ship, where they left him in the care of a woman named Ella, who was charged with taking care of a few other children, all younger than Seth.. Seth's ship was eventually integrated into a colony, where Ella took care of the children she was assigned to. Life on the colony was rough, as supplies were limited. Ella had trouble providing for all of the children she took care of, so Seth took up a salvage job at age fourteen.

Seth's contributions made Ella's life, and the life of the children she took care of, much easier. When Seth turned 18, and all of the others in Ella's care had taken up jobs, he left. He eventually landed on Salvage Station GRA 36.

From the day he arrived, Seth was in constant trouble. Getting into fights with other races, mouthing off to the higher-ups, and the occasional weapons charge. Seth currently resides of GRA 36, where his distaste for everyone but himself steadily grows.

Qu'utian

Name: Fletcher “Fletch” Kriano
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Race: Qu'utian
Appearance: He wears a dark brown tank top shirt with a black leather ‘motercycle’ (at least that’s what he thought they called it) jacket, and dirt brown jogging pants with white stripes down the side of each leg.
-Height: 6’1
-Weight: 198 lbs
General Description: Fletch is a happy-go-lucky sort of guy with a childish innocence which could startle the most experienced conman. His clothes are regularly dirty with some manner of oil splashed on them from his work as an engineer. Many think he is naïve, but he has wisdom with his years of helping people and fixing broken equipment.
Equipment: A wench, a lone Tonfa, and pepper spray he managed to acquire from assisting drifters in their day-to-day lives.
Brief Bio: Fletch’s parents were good friends of several of the humans living on planet Bob, and as the Drej attacked the relatively new planet his parents gave their lives to save several now-drifters, who promised to raise him as one of their own.

Fletch was taught by his new parents how to fix machinery and to always help those in need, whether they were kind in return or not. Unfortunately, Fletcher took this philosophy to new extremes as he began to help everyone out that he ever met, leading his foster parents to abandon their promise (and thus, him) on Salvage Station GRA 36. However, to him, this was simply a new opportunity to help others out, as his ‘parent’s’ taught him to!

It’s been sixteen years since he first arrived at the station, and has become one of the station’s local legends (‘Fletch the Fixer’ they call him). Fletch has now gotten all sorts of tools and strange gadgets from the drifting humans that pass by, and is content helping all those who need his help, even if they don’t even know that they need it!
