There is a tale told among the elemental demons of the Dark Isles. A tale of tragedy and horror. A tale of the one demon who had control of all the elements....and lost his mind. He betrayed his kin and nearly destroyed every demon of the Isles with his terrible power. It took the combined might of the demon council to seal him away. A council formed by one member from each element. A historic event where the elemental demons put aside their differences to band against a common threat. It is now several centuries later....and something wicked floats on the air. A foul wind that proceeds a terrible event to come.....

In a cave somewhere within the great volcano of Magmus. An old man and his grandson sit around a fire. The old man, a Demon of Fire, appears to be using his abilities to carve a piece of obsidian with fire. His skill is quite apparent as the small figure takes shape beautifully.

The child is less than successful in his efforts. His piece of obsidian melts into a misshapen chunk. The child sighs and throws the ruined piece into the fire, "Why couldn't I have been born an Earth Demon.... I would be done by now!" The child's face brightens as an idea pops into his head, "Hey Gramps! Why can't we just teach ourselves how to control the earth?!"

The old man studies his obsidian figure with a critical eye and sets it down gently. He has carved an intricate flower out of a chunk of obsidian. He then turns to answer the child's foolish question, "My dear boy....such a thing is forbidden. You know this. Or have you forgotten the story?"

The child pouts at his grandfather's answer, "But its just one other element....What could it hurt!" He cringes expecting a sharp retort from his grandfather. But slowly opens his eyes when he hears him laughing. Now he was confused.

When he finishes laughing the old man speaks with a stern voice, "It only takes one false step to break one's neck child. It is the same with delving into the other elements for us Demons." Suddenly the old man looks over the child's shoulders and his face turns very pale.

The child tilts his head in confusion, "Whats wrong Gra........" Before he can even finish his sentance. Something flashes over his shoulder and a red line appears at his grandfather's neck. Seconds later his grandfather's head falls from his shoulders. Blood pours from his neck and where it touches fire ignites. A testament to his heritage.

The child is too shocked to scream. Instead he turns slowly to look over his shoulder. His eyes grow wider when he sees a very scary, dark, obviously dangerous person behind him. His lip quivers with fear and he scoots slowly away.

The dark figure stares at the dead old man with satisfaction. His eyes lock onto the child, "So you are the last of this wretched fool's bloodline?" Blades spin from the darkness and encircle the dark figures body. The dark figure smiles a wicked smile as he raises a finger towards the boy.

From other parts of the cave. Fire Demons look toward the darkness and each other as the echo of a child's scream bounces of the walls and then is suddenly cut off.

But this is an event that has yet to happen. Let's go now to a point before all of this. To an Island far off the coast of Magmus Island. Where a secret order of monks sit around an idol. Chanting and casting minor spells. This is the island were the Omni-Elemental Demon of Legend is bound. But all is not right...

One of the monks slowly stands and approaches the idol. An older looking monk shouts at the standing monk. "What do you think you are doing!" The young monk smiles as he raises a hand to the idol. "STOP don't do it!" The young monk ignores the old monk as he places his hand atop the idol's head and speaks, "Awaken my Lord...."

There is a great explosion of multiple elements. Fire, earth, wind, water, ice, darkness, and light tear through all of the monks. Ripping them apart with elemental fury.

All across the isles people with special abilities, people attune to magic, and demons feel a pressure in the air. A pressure that foretells something powerful has just been released. Will these special individuals rise up to stop this new threat? Or will they aid it in it's rampage across the isles? That....is up to you.

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."

On a small island a few miles off the coast of Brenton. Two figures walk through the island's very colorful jungle. A jungle that deserves the name the locals on Brenton have given it. The Rainbow Jungle.

Everything here is vibrant with color. Even the animals themselves are devoid of anything in the spectrum of browns or blacks. The jungle floor is actually covered by a thin layer of brightly colored flowers in place of grass and dirt.

One of the figures is a fairly tall young man. His face seems emotionless as his cold-gray eyes scan the jungle. He seems to be watching over the other figure who walks a few feet ahead of him.

Tsuna sighs inwardly as he scans the jungle underbrush for any dangers. Here they were again. On yet another unexplored island. With danger possibly around every corner. Being this person's guardian was becoming quite a chore. But then again he had to admit that he was seeing sights he had never seen before on Magmus Island. Tsuna's eyes focus back to the figure in front of him. Raine, the half-elven runaway princess that he was bound to protect, and wonders what other trouble they were going to get into today.

Raine looked around in wonder as she lead Tsuna through the Rainbow Jungle. They'd come here on a whim of hers, as they usually did, but she was glad that they had. This place had the most vibrant color she'd ever seen! She brushed her fingers against one of the tree trunks that she passed, looking much more relaxed than her guardian. Actually, by expression and stance alone, they looked totally opposite.

She snuck a glance back at Tsuna, frowning slightly at his expression before facing forwards again. One of these days, she would get him to lighten up. She wondered what he was worried about this time. What could there possibly be in a place like this that would pose danger for them? Wild animals, maybe. But that was about it, and stupid animals wouldn't be a problem for them. By that logic, Tsuna had absolutely no reason to look like he was preparing to light up the next thing that made a sudden movement. Suddenly Raine pouted at that thought, because it was probably too accurate. It would be a shame for him to mess up this place with scorch marks over nothing just because he was paranoid.

She looked back at him again, this time actually addressing him. "Isn't this place pretty? It's so peaceful." She stressed the word 'peaceful' and gave him a slightly accusing look. It may have seemed like she was making small talk, but it was really more like a warning. She did not want him to ruin this little hike. She was having fun!

Tsuna glances quickly to their right as something scurries into the underbrush before speaking. And if he picked up on the hinted warning. He didn't show it. "Perhaps....." It's all he said as he continued to scan the surroundings. Maybe this place really was peaceful? But would he let his guard down? No.

As an after thought he adds, "The locals said no one returns from here....." But such a thing was common on a jungle island. Inexperienced adventurers trying to navigate thick vegetation and getting mauled by the local wildlife. And that's when he noticed it. The faint, but very cold, breeze in the air when before it was extremely hot and muggy. And then there was the snowflakes falling all around them. Curious......

Raine rolled her eyes at Tsuna's short response. He obviously didn't get it. "No one ever returns from anything as far as Island Locals are concerned. I swear we get a warning like that every time we go somewhere." She took a deep inward breath, and let it out with a sigh. It was true, for the most part. People liked spreading rumors about uninhabited areas near where they live. It was definitely more annoying than helpful; ask a question about the atmosphere and you get whole stories about evil monsters and labrynths and other horrors that probably don't even exist. "I wonder how many of those people have actually been here. Probably none." She crossed her arms lightly as her face formed into a nice pout.

It wasn't long, however, before her furrowed brow raised into a look of surprise. "What the...?" she mumbled to no one in particular as she raised a hand to catch one of the snowflakes that was now falling around them. She glanced around to make sure she wasn't hallucinating, but sure enough, the snow seemed to have caught Tsuna's attention as well. Hadn't it just been hot a minute ago? Of all the stories they'd heard, sporatic weather wasn't one of them. She looked back at Tsuna as if about to ask him a question, but then shook her head and started to turn forwards again...

...when the ground fell right out from underneath her. Raine could barely get out a yelp of surprise as she stepped on what seemed to be solid earth, but in fact, wasn't. It wasn't a long fall, so when she finally did hit something solid, she wasn't actually hurt. Sore, but uninjured, she proceeded to let out a rather unpleasant curse as she pulled herself to her feet and looked around. Surprisingly, it wasn't just a hole, but some sort of underground shaft. Raine didn't much care though, she just wanted to get back out. Looking up, she thought she might be able to jump and reach the top, but a first attempt revealed that she was just shy of the necessary height. But if someone happened to be nearby that could give her a lift...

"TSUNAAA! Hurry and help me up will you?!"

*XXXXX*XXXXX*

"Has it ever occured to you that the weather might have just changed on its own?"

Ethan drummed his fingers impatiently on the table at his side. These local crackpots... they thought everything was worth jumping at. "No, no way! You've got to go check it out!" The old man was about as close in Ethan's personal space bubble as he would allow, and even so the redhead was leaning back slightly to avoid the smell of his breath. "I just know there's been a disturbance with one of the monsters in the jungle! That's the only explanation." Ethan had to resist the urge to roll his eyes. This guy wasn't going to give up.

"Alright, fine. If it means that much to you... Of course, I got no way to get there or anything." The hand that had been drumming the table lifted and he examined his nails nonchalantly, but the old timer didn't need much goading. "My son can steer you to the isle, and we'll even pay you for your time! Just, please. I'm worried about the balance of that jungle!" After five minutes of snow... Ethan had his doubts. But nonetheless, he wasn't about to refuse good money. Especially if it was easy money. Ethan gave a pleased nod, exchanged a few more words with the man about the details, and within moments was strolling out of the tavern, on his way to the docks. This was going to be cake. Or so he thought.

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."

Tsuna sighs inwardly. Yes its true they received that warning quite often. But there was usually some truth behind them that warranted caution. Well it didn't' matter too much to him. Tsuna stares at the falling snow. He felt...familiarity with it. As if he should know why it was snowing here. Something nagging at the back of his mind. And then that's when he heard Raine calling to him. Snapping him out of his thoughts.

Tsuna turns to were Raine was and tilts his head in mild confusion. He walks forward a bit and stops at the edge of a hole that wasn't there before. And looks down to see a slightly dirtied Raine looking up at him. "I see you've found trouble again...." Tsuna crouches down and is about to reach to her when he feels a presence in the tunnels. His eyes narrow as he tries to pierce the darkness. He can't see what is there but it was coming fast. He speaks in a hushed voice down to Raine, his eyes still locked on the darkness behind her, "Stay absolutely still and don't make a sound...."

Raine glared as Tsuna so obviously stated her situation. "Apparently. Now stop being condescending and pull me up." She patted the dirt-wall with impatience as she waited for him. 'I would tell him not to laugh, but thankfully that's one of the things I don't have to worry about from him...' At least there was one good thing about his lack of humor. She was sure that anyone else would have found this funny by now, but Tsuna's expression was, as usual, set in stone.

Or, it had been. As Tsuna's eyes narrowed, she felt her own widen slightly, and she turned around, suddenly wanting her back to be against the wall instead of to whatever could be making him look tense. It was only then that he told her to stay absolutely still, and she had to close her eyes for a moment to keep herself from sighing. Way to give a warning on time, Tsuna.

After only a few more seconds of tense waiting, Raine caught sight of something moving in the darkness ahead of her. She fought the urge to stiffen, but she couldn't stop her heart rate from increasing. Despite his warning, she didn't think that waiting any longer would be any more helpful than staying there. "Tsuna..." her voice was shaky, and almost a whisper. "...I think... you need to pull me out of here, right now..."

The large red eyes gained a figure, and the giant, irritated-looking serpent began to slow down as it drew nearer.

"Oh c'mon man! Why the hell would you hitch a ride on a boat if you get seasick?!" The old man's son, having finally docked his ship on the aptly named Rainbow Jungle Island, complained as Ethan struggled to keep down his lunch. He swayed a little, gripping the rail, trying to fight off the nausea for a moment, before making his reply.

"Part of the... erg... job... Now... If you'll excuse me...." Ethan cleared his throat slightly and straightened himself. He made it about two steps before he swayed again, but he managed to right himself before it was decided that he would need assistance. "..I have a jungle to investigate..." And with those graceful last words, Ethan slowly but surely made his way off the boat, and somehow managed to resist all urges to heave.

In a moment, he stood in ankle-deep snow, trying to collect himself and recompose. He looked around in surprise, the old man hadn't been kidding. There really had been a huge climate change, and the snow was falling awfully fast. He bent down, picking some up with his bare hands, but ignoring the cold for now. It was just regular snow, as far as he could see. With a shrug, he closed his hand enough to make the lump into a rough snowball, and tossed it at the nearest tree. Hopefully further in the trees would provide some cover, so he wouldn't be trudging through this stuff the whole time. He was starting to get cold.

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."

Tsuna caught a glimpse of what was further down the tunnel. If he was correct about what the thing was. Then he had to be quick about what he was going to do next. In a low voice, "You are not gonna like what I'm going to do next. But you can complain later." Without giving Raine a moment to respond Tsuna reaches down, grabs Raine's hand, and yanks her unceremoniously out of the hole. At the same moment his other hand was pulled back to throw the crackling ball of lightning that he had produced. He lets the ball of lightning fly as soon as Raine was clear of the hole and jumps away from it. Pulling Raine close so as not to drop her in mid air.

There is a brilliant flash of light as the ball of lightning explodes against something inside the tunnel. So bright that it lights up the jungle itself even. Tsuna lands a few feet from the tunnel with Raine in hand and quite literally drops her on the ground. She was safe but he had a feeling he would get an earful about how he handled the rescue. But it couldn't be helped in his opinion. Tsuna's cold steel eyes stare at the tunnel entrance his stance was that of one ready for a fight. And he waits. Hoping that he had scared whatever it was that was down there away. Hoping the sudden flash of bright light had even blinded a creature that was accustomed to the darkness.

Raine wasn't sure what Tsuna was going to do, but right now, she didn't care. Anything Tsuna could do was better than death by giant snake, which seemed to be her only other option at this point. Regardless, she was still startled when she was suddenly lifted off the ground, and clamped one hand over her own mouth as she accidentally let out a strangled cry of surprise. Once she'd successfully fought back whatever sounds wanted to climb out of her throat, she more or less clung to Tsuna as he jumped backwards with her in tow, squeezing her eyes shut against the bright light his energy blast had created. Part of her thought it was silly because he obviously wouldn't drop her, but another part of her was still too worried about the fact that she'd almost just gotten eaten to care.

She certainly started to care when they landed. Hitting the ground with an "oof!", Raine proceeded to glare up at Tsuna. Yanking her out of the hole? Fine, she'd wanted that anyways. Getting her away from the serpent? Even better. Dropping her like dead weight once they cleared a small amount of distance... not cool. Her fists clenched at her sides and she quickly pulled herself to her feet, straightening herself up but not bothering to brush herself off as she glared up at him. "Was that really necessary, Tsuna?" she growled at him, and then raised her voice some more. "Hey, how about next time you just THROW me away from the monster! That'd be much more effective, I'm sure! Maybe you'll get lucky and I'll hit a tree on the way back to the ground! Then you wouldn't have to deal with my 'complaining' afterwards!"

She probably would have continued yelling at him for a few more minutes, if the ground hadn't rumbled. This put her rant to an abrupt stop, and she looked in the direction of the tunnel. She had been sure that giant blast would have at least knocked the beast out, if not killed it. That didn't seem to be the case, as the serpent let out a screech that made Raine cover her ears as it shot out of the tunnel. Not even fully above ground and easily twice their height, the snake lowered its head enough to look down at them before letting out a hiss of anger. Apparently it hadn't appreciated the light show. Who would have guessed.

*XXXXX*XXXXX*

Ethan had been right. The forest was dense enough that a lot of the snow didn't get through the treetops, so as he traversed through the jungle, he was pretty well sheltered from the majority of the snow. Granted, enough was getting through to leave a thin coating of white powder on the ground, but at least it wasn't as high as it was closer to the shore. It was a bit warmer in here, too. Not much, but enough.

Ethan was quickly brought away from his musings about tree-cover when a bright light seemed to flash from somewhere deeper in the jungle. He winced, shielding his eyes with one hand. Okay, so maybe there was something weird going on here. He was glad for the buster that was currently strapped to his back.

He wanted to know now if there was something wrong with the creatures, or if it was the land itself, but he didn't dare go into a Spirit trance when something big was obviously nearby... but then, maybe he wouldn't have to. Ethan felt a grin creeping across his face as he heard an all-too-familiar sound... of someone yelling at someone else. 'Raine.' He had recognized her shrill voice instantly.

However, as she stopped yelling, Ethan's momentary amusement quickly turned to concern as an ear-piercing cry was heard- and an inhuman one at that. Whatever was causing trouble around here was near Raine, and knowing Raine, the thing would have singled her out for its next meal. Ethan let out a sigh as he broke into a run.

A few minutes later, he came to a halt next to a particularly thick tree. Several feet ahead of him was in fact his half-sister and her new pet demon, what was his name again...? Oh well, it didn't matter. What mattered was the giant snake that looked like it was about to swallow them both in the same gulp. "Well look who it is... shoulda known I'd find you the second I went looking for trouble." The responding groan was enough to assure Ethan that Raine hadn't been hurt yet, and he became set to make sure it stayed that way. His hand reached behind him, carefully so as not to set off the serpent that was now staring him down, and he prepared to aid in the fight that now seemed unavoidable.

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."

Tsuna's face didn't even flinch when Raine started yelling at him. So focused was he on the hole he didn't even hear what she was even yelling at him about. Then the ground rumbled and Raine was silent again. And what emerged from the whole even had Tsuna step back slightly. He wasn't expecting a creature of such size. The sound the snake made indicated it wasn't going to be easily frightened away.

Tsuna then hears a vaguely familiar voice from behind him. Ethan.... Good, with him here Tsuna could act. Even if the boy couldn't fight he could at least help Raine flee. Electricity begins to dance up and down Tsuna's body as Tsuna taps into the power of his kin. He says one word before disappearing in a flash of lightning that singes the ground were he once was, "Run..."

Tsuna reappears a few feet above the snake's head in another flash of lightning. Electricity dances wildly over a fist pulled back and ready to strike. Time seems to stop as Tsuna hangs in the air for a few milliseconds, then it seems to slowly pick up again as gravity works its magic. And using gravity Tsuna strikes at the Snakes head with his charged fist. There is a brilliant flash as electricity explodes and the snakes head slams into the ground below. Tsuna's eyes narrow though when he sees that the only damage he causes was the singeing of a few scales. It's no surprise the creatures hide was tough from living underground. And Tsuna curses his miscalculation. But perhaps he had gotten the creatures attention at least. Tsuna lands about 5 feet on the creatures right and readies for it's counter attack.

Raine was starting to wonder if she had the worst luck out of anyone in the entire ocean. As if the giant snake wasn't problem enough, now Ethan had to show up. Of all people. She already wanted to yell at him, but for the sake of not pissing off the monster several feet away, she settled for using expressions to portray her feelings. She glanced at him with daggers in her eyes. He didn't seem to be phased.

Raine looked to Tsuna with annoyance when he told them to run. She was about to protest to him when she noticed that Ethan was walking in her direction. She spun back to face her half-brother and pointed at him accusingly. "Oh no. I'm not going anywhere with you. You know the old divide and conquer rule. You go waaaay over there and- HEY!!" Raine immediately began to pound on Ethan's back and kicking as he wordlessly hoisted her over his shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN! What is it with you men?! I am not LUGGAGE!"

Oblivious to her protesting, Ethan glanced over at Tsuna- or, where Tsuna had been a moment ago. "I'll try to keep her out of your way for a while," he called with a light smirk before beginning to walk off. The snake, thankfully, was too busy being slammed into the ground by Tsuna to decide to follow them. With another cry, the giant beast shook its head after Tsuna jumped away again. At the same time, it swung its massive tail, which had flown out of the hole when it was attacked, and attempted to bash Tsuna towards it from behind. It turned its head to him and opened wide, exposing its huge fangs...

Raine soon gave up on hitting Ethan. She was instead struck with the notion that she could take him out with his own sword, and set to furiously attempting to unbuckle it from his back. After a moment Ethan realized she was doing this, and slid the belt strap so that the buckle was safely out of her reach. She swore at him, and resumed her attempted beating.

"How much help do you think you're going to -ow!- be to Tsuna against that snake if you can't even get me to put you down?" Ethan asked her once they were out of sight of the battle. It was a serious question, but he couldn't help but seem smug as he asked it. It was pretty funny, the way she was flailing. She was tiring herself out though, so asking her a question like that gave her an excuse to stop. She took a second of "thought" (aka subtly catching her breath) before answering. "Better than you. What were you going to do, speak to it? Tsuna's lightning didn't even hurt that thing." she followed up her statement by whacking him in the back of the head this time. "Now put me down already! I can walk on my own!" He did, and she did.

"I think," he started suddenly after another moment of silence, "that I should try to see if there's something wrong with the island. Maybe that's why that snake is so testy." Raine glanced sideways at him, still looking angry, and then shrugged. Before she could throw a sarcastic retort his way, he spoke again. "I'll have to go into a trance... which means I'll need you to watch out for me. Can you do that without taking advantage and beheading me?" Raine looked at him again, with amusement this time, and laughed. Ethan, on the other hand, frowned. He had felt safer when she was mad.

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."

From behind..... It wasn't to hard to predict a wild animal's movements. Even if it is abnormally big. Tsuna raises a hand towards the oncoming tail. The air in front of Tsuna's hand begins to spark and crack with electricity. When the tail reaches an area 1 foot from his hand there is a brilliant flash of electricity as the tail connects with the static wall Tsuna had thrown up. Tsuna grunts and his arm flexes as the massive weight of the tail pushes against the wall of electricity.

In the back of his mind Tsuna hopes that Raine had listened to him for once and gotten a safe distance. Tsuna raises his free hand towards the snake's open maw and lightning jumps from his finger tips. Bolts of electricity slam into several parts of the snake's head. But the most they were dong was singing scales. A few strike at the exposed flesh in it's mouth leaving large burns. Tsuna frowns at the fact that his lightning was not entering the snakes body. It was merely causing surface damage. Perhaps this snake was resistant to electricity? Tsuna sighs inwardly at not summoning his sword at the beginning. No matter, he would just have to create an opening so he could.

The serpent's head flew back as it was hit with the lightning, and it squirmed as its mouth was burned. Furious now, it whacked into nearby trees as it swung its tail around. It had had enough. It attempted to block Tsuna in, wrapping around itself with him in the center. The size of the thing gave him quite a few feet around himself to begin with, but it began to tighten with the intent to not stop until it had a dead little demon in its grasp. Just in case, its head hovered just above, jaw closed for fear of more attempted burns but ready to snap open and swallow fast at the sign of a jump.

They might have been out of sight of the battle, but they could still hear the crashes as the serpent thrashed around. Raine winced as she heard the distant cracking of Tsuna's lightning, and nervously rubbed the ring on her right hand as she leaned back against a tree. "Hurry up..." she grumbled, even though she knew Ethan, seated about a foot away, couldn't hear her now. But then, maybe she hadn't been talking to him.

Ethan wasn't himself, anymore. He'd gone under, and was now one with the island. He could feel the grass, the trees, and even the traces of some of the wildlife. Everything was... cold. Really cold. Lethally cold. Much longer, and some of the plant life would begin to die. Some of it already had, if it was sensitive enough. The island didn't like this- it was suffering. It wasn't doing this to itself. Something was hurting it, changing the air, freezing it. If this kept up, the whole island would eventually die.

A thought penetrated through, that it was probably a demon of some sort, which made Ethan angry. However, the island didn't know the difference between a demon and any other animal life present, and it certainly didn't get angry, and so his grip faltered. He grimaced, banishing the thought and the emotion, integrating himself once more. He wasn't finished yet.

Where was it coming from...? Oh. There. There was a waterfall, but it was completely frozen over. That was where it was the coldest. There was a cave behind it, too, that was revealed now. Was the cold coming from the cave? Maybe. It was better than nothing. He withdrew from the island, slowly so as not to disrupt the balance any more, and in a moment opened his eyes. Before he even moved, he did a mental check to see if he was in one piece. Nothing hurt, and nothing was missing. Good.

He took too long examining himself. Not good. He fell forwards and faceplanted into the snow as Raine drove him down with a foot to the head. "How long are you planning to sit there drooling before you tell me what you saw?" He quickly reached up behind him to try and pry her off. "Mrff bmph- GAH!" Ah, success. He gasped and spit out a mouthful of possibly dirty snow as Raine retreated a few steps. "...In a minute! And I didn't see anything, I felt it. I think it might be an elemental demon." He glared and brushed himself off before getting to his feet.

Raine rolled her eyes, arms crossed. "You're gonna feel something alright, my boot up your- ...wait, elemental demon? Like what, an ice one? Hum. That would make sense." She looked thoughtful for a moment, and Ethan smirked triumphantly. She hadn't shot him down. This was improvement! "But..." Oh, darn. So close. "If it's strong enough to be changing the atmosphere around the island, we might be better off skipping out as soon as Tsuna finishes the snake. For the moment, anyways." Ethan shook his head vigorously. "I'm here on a job to fix whatever's wrong with this island. I can't go until I'm done." But then suddenly, a glint caught his eye, and he grinned at Raine. "I have an idea, though... Let's hope Tsuna hurries along."

"So you say lighting never strikes twice huh......."

Tsuna grunts with effort as the snake tried to crush him in it's coils. The static wall was holding but he could tell it wouldn't last long under this kind of strength. Tsuna looks closely at where the snakes tail makes contact with his static wall. It wasn't causing any damage to the snakes tail. Tsuna sighs. He hated resorting to "that" power. But it seems it was necessary to penetrate this creatures hide.

Tsuna closes his eyes and concentrates. Lightning begins to crackle up and down his body. Slowly the electricity actually begins to change color. From its normal yellow to a faint blue. When it turns to a brilliant blue color Tsuna turns his head up to the snake and opens his eyes. They flash the same brilliant blue color and Tsuna actually smirks. The smirk grows into a cocky grin, "Your dead now buddy...."

Blue electricity gathers into Tsuna's right hand. He clenches it into a fist and the electricity condenses, making it seem like his fist was glowing with blue light. In an instant Tsuna leaps straight up. So fast that the snake didn't have a chance to react as his charged fist connects under the snakes jaw. There is brilliant flash of blue electricity that lights up the jungle and the snake is sent flying into a tree with a loud crash. Smoke spews from the point of contact and the smell of burnt flesh hangs in the air.

Tsuna floats in the air above the snake and looks down at the thing. "Your not so tough now." Tsuna grins again and holds out a hand as if to grasp something. Electricity travels down his arm and gathers in the ring there. The electricity then jumps to his hand and traces into a massive sword that is just as tall as him. Tsuna grasps the swords hilt and twirls it around him in a spectacular display before finally pointing it at the snake. "It's been fun. But now you've got to disappear." Tsuna rushes forward and swings his massive sword at the snake. When the blade comes within centimeters of the snakes skin, electricity jumps from the blade, connects with the snakes skin, and the deafening sound of thunder cracks across the jungle. Electricity explodes from the point of contact and grows outward. Assaulting the snakes body as if it were alive. The snakes body disintegrates from the massive amount of electricity flowing through it.

Tsuna steps back from the burnt outline of where the snake once was and his sword disappears in a flash. He closes his eyes and the smirk slowly disappears and the familiar stony, unemotional face returns. When he opens his eyes again they flash a faint yellow before returning to normal. Tsuna sighs and turns away from the scene. Wondering if Raine was safe still. And hating himself for relying on "that" power again.

"You would be dead wrong......"
