Just about everyone has a horror story about buying their first toy/restraint/etc when they were still amueturs. Rarely is there a cheap set or starter package for any kind of sexual activity that is effective while not breaking or otherwise malfunctioning.

What are your stories?

It happens to the best of us.

It's not a personal story, but a story a friend of mine told me that she said I could pass on here.

Her girlfriend and her had gone to a shop and bought a little mini finger vibe. Well, it was SO little that it um.. slipped off her finger when she was inside, and it got sort of... stuck in there.

Oh man that would be embarassing I personally have never bought a toy but I have a story about my cousin he bought his girlfriend a vibrator which wasn't the embarassing part...though he got confronted by a gay couple offering toy advice...uncomfortable for him anyway the really embarassing part was that his girlfriend opened the vibrator in front of her parents I don't need to explain much there do I?

I've got one...my last girlfriend and I got some restraints thinking they were strong enough to keep one of us from breaking loose...first I have to explain how we would do it...we were both dominants so we would wrestle to see who would be the one that got tied up...the first person to get locked into the restraints lost obviously...anyway she hooked me into the restraints and three seconds later the straps holding me up snapped and I fell flat on my face with my legs still attached to the machine.

OMG. Dom, that must have sucked. Total mood killer.

I don't have much really, except my ex gf bought one of those little vibes you put in your mouth, and accidentally swallowed it. Actually, I think most companies discontinued them becuase of that

It did but we both ended up laughing...after that we got a bondage cross...It cost more but it worked so much better...I can't remember what the machine was called but it was a large metal frame with straps that held my arms and legs suspending me in the air.

I have yet to expiriment with machines/structures, but I did help a friend of mine make a nice spreader bar for his SO. Good times. I would like to work with machinery at some point

Same, except I used it anyway and it split in half ... sweatdrop I joined the military and got lonely.

And though not bought, my first mistress had me suspended by these rough ropes that cut into my skin. The blood got her excited, so we kept going, but I was out of commission for a week afterwards due to scabbing. Which lead to questions at work.
