Amphi-Hydrus



Biography;
The Amphi-Hydrus were a race of amphibious beings native to the water-planet Dac, commonly referred to as Mon Calamari. They were small, physically weak creatures, but were masters of mind control, using the powers of the dark side of the Force to manipulate others into doing their bidding. Shortly before the subjugation of the planet by the Galactic Empire, they gained a foothold of the entire planet by telepathically controlling a few rancors which had been imported to the planet. They were seen on the back of these monstrous beasts, riding them and wreaking havoc wherever they went. However, when the Galactic Empire attacked, this all came to an end and so the Amphi-Hydrus' simply became swamp dwellers, and bitterly awaited the chance to recapture their previous power.

Krakana



Biography;
Krakanas were aquatic creatures that lived on Mon Calamari. They were believed by many to be some of the most dangerous creatures on the planet. A krakana had tentacles tipped with deadly pincers, could swim at high speeds, and had several rows of sharp teeth. They were relatives of the keelkana.

When Han and Leia Solo were on vacation to Mon Calamari, with their family, Leia told her son, Anakin Solo, not to play in the water because of the Krakana. Later Anakin would use that excuse whenever his siblings told him not to go somewhere by responding "See it's okay, no Krakana!"

They were the source of Krakana filet and were the inspiration for FIDO, a New Republic defense droid.

Immigrated fauna

Firaxan shark


The firaxan shark, or firaxa, was a fierce underwater creature that inhabited the seas of Manaan. They were extremely deadly and were known to swim out of nowhere, attacking anyone who dared to walk where they lived.


Colo Claw fish

The Colo claw fish was one of the nightmarish creatures found in the depths of Naboo's seas. The Colo was very long and flat, with two rows of bioluminescent nodules along either side of its body, which were used to attract prey. It is the second largest predator on Naboo beaten out in size only to the massive Sando Aqua Monster. They were one of several species of eel in the galaxy.

Faa

The faa, or faynaa, were tall, predatory scalefish native to the oceans of Naboo.

The typical faa had a tall, narrow body that was stiff and well-armored. Their thin frames allowed the faa to inhabit thin crevices in the underwater rocks, from which they could catch prey that hid in the crags.


Sando aqua monster


The Sando aqua monster was a massive carnivorous aquatic mammal that lived in the oceans of Naboo. Little was known about these giant creatures, and many myths and legends were fostered regarding its origins and habitats.
