A common room for the Dorms, that comprises the front lobby with a telephone, the Dorm Mistress' office and room, hidden away behind doors, several couches, and a warm 'false' fireplace for the most chilly of nights.

Ciara had settled into one of the couches, a slender book held between her fingers as she reclined. She was, of course, doing her duty and waiting for the other students to get themselves into the dormitories before she herself went off to her own.

This was a duty she performed often, and would continue to perform. Curfew was coming to a close soon, and this was her mild way of keeping occupied, at least for the time being. Her eyes darted up every now and again, toward the double doors that led in and out of the area as students milled in, not quite prepared to turn down for the night.

"ACK!!!"

Drip Drip Drip~~

Having come out of the shower and being wrapped up in nothing more than a dark red bathrobe, Odette, ran into the common room having realized Kumiko's abscence, "....WHERE IS SHE?!"

Unfortunately, she knew exactly where she was... wherever that boy had gone. He had most likely led her out and to a place where she'd never be found agian.

"Oh my... oh my... oh my..." She said, putting her hands to her head and biting her lip, ".....This will not be good news...!"

Ciara was rather surprised to find the girl coming out of her dorm in her bathrobe, and the book in her hands was immediately put aside, as she stood, and approached.

"Is something wrong?" The woman adjusted slightly so that Odette could see her Prefect badge on her arm, nodding her head slightly.

"You seem upset."

"I seem upset?!" she said, her teeth gritting, "....Well, let's see... my room mate just went off with a strange, and somewhat creepy older man to an area where no one will ever be able to see them again, and more or less she'll be killed, raped, eaten, and or buried alive!" <--- total assumption.

".....Yeah... I'm a tad upset."

"Your roommate. You room in Dorm 20, correct?" She suddenly had a clipboard in her hand, gathered from a table near where she'd been sitting, and was going through the list of names.

"I saw another girl come out of that dorm about a half an hour ago, just before curfew ended. She should be back soon. I'm certain that nothing bad has happened. Lets give it a little more time to see if she comes back before we start to worry, alright?" Ciara was speaking in her calm voice, though she gestured toward a young man off to the right, who immediately turned and headed out the doors, into the night. Another Prefect, who would keep an eye out for the girl if she approached, to make sure to relay back to Ciara that things were fine.

"You panic a great deal. You're an eyesore."

The quiet deadpan tone from around a wall as the blank-eyed girl in the regulation uniform moved into the main commons area. She stared listlessly at the pair that was conversing, her face betraying absolutely no emotion whatosever, and her eyes were dilated as if she was drugged. Her head tipped to one side, dangerously so, and it almost would lead one to believe her head might twist all the way around.

"I dislike him. But it isn't his way to do those things. He has no time for frivolity despite his outward careless nature. You are an overemotional human girl."

She didn't seem to say anything to the calm girl. She didn't seem to want to speak to her at all.

Odette's eyes wandered over towards the zombie-like girl that had just entered. She rose an eyebrow and scratched her temple, "Err... okay?" As if everything wasn't confusing enough.

"You're right... we should just wait... I guess I do worry a bit too much."

"Him? So you know the person that her room mate is supposedly with?" this to the creepy girl, reaching out to give Odette's shoulder a soft pat.

"Don't worry, if she isn't back in another ten minutes, we'll go looking for her together, alright?"

She squared herself toward the 'creepy' girl, and tipped her head just slightly. Something about her felt incredibly... off.

"As well as one knows a parasite one has been saddled with. You know exactly how it will suck your blood. But that does not mean it will cease sucking your blood."

The blank-eyed girl continued to stare at the two, and it might occur after watching her stare for a while, that not only were her eyes extremely dilated, but she also didn't blink. Ever. That was rather unusual, at least in normal people, considering keeping one's eyes open would dry them out and cause pain, or at the very least annoyance..but she didn't seem to show either.

"That is not to say the parasite is harmless. But then again, the parasite is also caught up in its own circle of survival. How unusual a feeling. It is old. It is young. It is both. Fascinating. That one bears watching."

She tipped her head then, gazing at the school prefect.

"Your emotions are guarded. But I feel a many things from you here and there. A red string."

"And I feel something strange about you. As if an existence that..." She stopped then, her voice trailing off, as she attempted to place this rising feeling off the girl, the oddity. The talk of red string gets her attention then.

"Oi. My fate is my own. And none of your business," She made a gesture with one hand, as if attempting to dismiss the conversation. She didn't want, no, didn't need anyone finding about her red string of fate. That was something reserved for her and her alone, after all.

She turned to Odette then.

"Ciara Karnstein, Head Prefect," A smooth smile, nodding her head. "Very please to meet you Odette." Another westerner of some sort. But Karnstein? That was strange. It was an oddly french name, yet not. Or at least, a name known in some legend.

There was once a book published about a French vampire named Karnstein. Or something obscure like that.

"And when will reality show itself? I am beyond your simple laws."

Again, she turned her head almost all the way around as she tipped it to one side. A white flicker of flame made itself manifest on the girl's right upward palm, dancing like a candle flame, yet it spoke of a cold malevolence. It had the feel of something not natural, yet it was not magic..no, it was something entirely different.

"The punishment fits the crime, but you cannot punish something that is already punished. Something that is not cannot commit a crime, so they say, or can it, even if it is not? Care to die, die, die again, despite the fact you're dead already in your own way? I wonder."

She stood on one foot, on her tiptoes, then danced to the other foot, and turned in a slow pirouette..all before she bent backwards, almost in half. Incredibly flexible. And still she held onto that white fire.

She had dealt with ghosts before, and she knew that type of flickering flame. That made things a little more apparent. Not that she was capable of blurting anything out.

"It's past curfew," this spoken to the creepy girl. "You should probably return to your dormitory." Her expression had gone flat, and all of the friendliness had faded away, fingers wrapping backward, around the prayer beads that lined her wrist, which she unfastened, the beads unwinding in an impossibly long circle, making a whip to which the end slid into Ciara's fingers.

"I'd prefer not to make this personal, but if you continue to attempt to probe me, I may have to make it that way."

There was something obviously creepy about this blank eyed girl.... though it seemed as though she was someone not to be fooled around with.

"...eh--- yeah... Odette... that's my name, you must have recognized me from the school newspaper. I'm a columnist. I write a new article almost every week."
