What stereotypes about gender/sexuality/relationship models/fetish/etc are often thought of by the general public? We are compiling a list and people's opinions on them to keep for guild records.
Post one Stereotype, hit enter, and then debunk/prove the stereotype. [[These ARE debatable, don't be afraid to argue someone's point]]

The StereotypesAll male cross-dressers are feminine even when performing their binary gender rolesshadowrainstorm NO. One of my closest friends crossdresses and he is probably one of the most masculine things that ever happened to the world when he's out of his drag and in his biological gender role. But when he flips the switch, girl has got it going on. DAYUM. All females in science and/or math are ugly, extremely geeky and socially awkward.Mei tsuki7 so so wrong. i break that stereotype without even trying. i am a physics and math major and i am none of those. not to sound vain but i'm not ugly. i'm not beautiful either i'd say i am pretty. though i am geeky in some ways though not to the extreme that is shown on most tv shows and movies. i don't carry a calculator everywhere and do complex mathematical calculations for fun, though i have been known to do random integrals while bored. i am also not socially awkward at all. i make friends easily and love to hang out with them. also every other physics major who is female that i know breaks this stereotype as well. All gay people like getting it "up the butt"iPeppermint Bubbles This is very not true, not all gay people like a**l sex. Many people think it is true. But they need to open their minds more. Uhh. Thats my point...? Argue it?

BTW one stereotype about physics majors that is true is that we are arrogant. umm yeah cough cough it really is true. but then again how can you not have an ego when your in a major with only 7 or so other students in a school of 13 thousand and people are like "OMG you're a physics major! i could never do that." umm oops sorry there i go again. biggrin

If your a guy and know a gay guy, then they automaticlly like you
Not true. Just because we are gay and like the same sex does NOT mean we like every male we meet. The males are usually just worried that they don't look good in everybody's eyes. So they think it.
(I hope I can write a second stereotype ><)
