Biography: Odette was born in Lille, France with her mother, father, and younger brother. Growing up, she’d taken a liking to a neighbor, [Abel Beaufils], whom of which was a mage and an astronomer. While he lived next door to the Dupuis home, he would often take Odette and her younger brother under his wing, while her mother and father were at work [as editors of a French newspaper].

As they got older, and continued to come to his home, he began to teach them the magic of the sun, an old French art he had learned a while back before a war. Fascinated by this, Odette took this art particularly seriously, and learned the basic spells [and 3 solar spells] Abel had taught them. A few years after they were comfortable with the basic magic, Abel passed away due to old age, and the Dupuis ended up moving to central [?] Japan, where they were to be enrolled in Mahora Academy.

Personality: Odette comes off as friendly and kind. She is slightly obnoxious at certain times, and can be particularly ditsy [mostly when it is not wanted.] She likes working her job at the school newspaper, a trait she picked up from her parents, and cares much for her little brother.

Weapon: Magic

Appearance: Long dirty blonde hair that is normally pulled into two loose braids on either side of the head. She is somewhat tall and normally wears the basic Mahora school uniform. [Reference Picture]

Incantation: Le cher soleil, nous activent et aident à travers
What it does: Magic brings the energy of the sun into whomever the spell was directed upon, and thus, the person will feel like they have been suddenly re-energized
Fallbacks: The energy works like regular energy and is used up almost as fast, should be used wisely and may or may not take toll on the user’s body pending on how strong their will is. This spell also does not work if the sun is not out

Name: Laser Pool Imma firing my lasers…
Incantation: Le cher soleil, nous activent et aident à travers
What it does: Gathers beams from the sun and uses them to form a high velocity kind of laser beam.
Fallbacks: Pending on how sunny the day is, will depend on the strength of the attack. This spell also does not work if the sun is not out

Name: Lunar Eclipse
Incantation: Les rayons lunaires, me protègent !
What it does: The rays from the sun will temporarily harden, creating some sort of fragile barrier. Good to use when in the middle of a battle and quick protection is needed.
Fallbacks: No prolonged use. Does not work when the sun is not out.
