Pure curiosity, what makes you so good at fishing? Is it your patience? Can you keep reeling in those guppys, seedkins or pebbos, because you know it'll pay later, with rarer and better fish? Your courage? You're brave enough to invest/waste money on all rods? The way you enjoy it? Anything else that makes you good within fishing?
For myself, it's probably my patience. I'm not good at it, but I can wait for the good things to happen. smile

Well, when I first heard that there was going to be fishing I was excited. I was starting to get really bored with Gaia and a game was something to look forward to. Then it came out and it was everything I wanted and more blaugh So part of my success is that fact that I've loved the game since it started. Past that it was pretty much practice, practice, practice. What kept me going was the idea of catching all of the fish (which I still haven't done). Once I got to Durem I realized you could make quite a bit of money so I was fishing two reasons. Now the fishing hats are out and fish are worth even more on the market. I guess I could sum all that up by saying that I'm very goal-driven when it comes to Gaia fishing and the constant practice has honed my skills to a fine edge.

I can filter out what I don't want, usually. (if I'm paying attention)

Well, I did manage to get all of the hats (except those pesky rares). I'd say my success in that endeavor stems from the art of filtering.
