Why is CDF so much more popular than Demonata?

Why? Everyone seems to only talk about CDF, and the CDF film is coming before Demonata. I haven't read CDF, is it just generally better? I personally can't think of anything cooler than shooting fireballs and lightening at hoards of Demonata.

I like CDF better then Demonta because it's got vampires i'm more into vampires then demons and the other stuff Demonta has in it. I guess it helps too that CDF doesn't bounce all over the place like Demonta does. But over all it's because me personally i'm into vampires more then demons.
