The Remake of New Moon (Well, shorter. And not as good.)
(This is my version, if Bella was a vampire at the end of Twilight. Also, if Jake knew she had become a vampire)
I wandered over to the Cullen's lunch table, where I usually sit. But before I sat down, Mike newton ran up to me.
"Hey Bella, come here!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to his table. Jessica sneered.
"She can't sit here." She said. "Why don't you go sit with Mr. Perfect over there?"
"She's my friend, she sits with us." Mike insisted. He practically pushes me into a seat. Edward looked at me. I shrugged.
"Can I leave Mike? It's really important." I say. Though I have myself under control, I'm thirsty, and I really don't want to risk sitting with all these humans. My old friends.
"I'm afraid you'll have to stay just a little longer." Mike said. "Or will I actually see you at work later?"
I thought quick. "Yeah, I'll be at work today." I hope he couldn't hear the lie behind my voice.
"Okay then." He said. I join the Cullens at the table.
"....wait just a minute." Jasper said. "Did you just say Alice cleaned your room?"
"She must have! Everything's in the wrong spot!" Emmet said. Alice was out hunting. I should have gone with her.
"Did anything smell different?" Edward asked. "Was there anything missing?"
"Well, actually, now that I think about it..." He trailed off.
"Emmet!" Rosalie shouted. "We have to tell Carlisle!"
"What's going on?" I ask.
"Come take a walk with me." Edward said. He stood. I followed him outside. "Bella, we may not be safe anymore."
"What? Why not?" I ask. What could threaten a vampire?
"I don't think it was Alice that was in Emmet and Rose's room." Edward said. The bell rang.
"Are you going to tell me what you think it was?" I ask. But no reply. He was gone in seconds, rushing home.
Fine, if he won't tell me, I'll ask Jake.
I run through the woods. I stop at the border of our territory. To call Jake, I grab a stick and whack it against a nearby tree, nearly snapping both with my inhuman strength. I wait. After about twenty minutes, I see him.
"Long time no smell." I say. Jake wreaks.
"You don't smell so pleasant yourself." He shoots back.
I'm surprised. "You can smell me from there?" I step back. He's taller, I notice now. A little bit hairier too.
"I don't exactly know how to explain this..." He says. He seems to think for a moment. "Bella, I'm a werewolf."
I laugh. "Funny."
"I'm serious." He insists. I continue to laugh. He gets annoyed.
"I'll prove it!" He yells. He walks behind a tree. I see him throw his pants to the side.
"Jake!" I cover my eyes. "Decency please!" But then, I hear a strange sound. It's his heartbeat, accelerated. I open my eyes. There's a huge mass of fur in front of me. "Jake?" The beast smiles. Then it begins to shed, its form becoming more human, running for cover, grabbing it's pants. Jake walks back out.
"No kidding." I say. "And I thought vampires existing was insane."
"My father says that vampires were put here to keep the humans in check. We were put here to keep the vampires in check." He frowns. "He says that it's part of our nature to hate vampires. And, your leech buddies-" he sneers "-have broken the treaty that keeps us from killing you."
I clench my fists. "What do you mean?"
"You see, my family, the werewolves, agreed not to bother the Cullens, so long as they did not bite a human in their area. But."
I close my eyes. I was bitten. "So, if we'd met, say, in a dark alley....."
He realizes what I mean. "No Bella." He says. "Not me. Them."
"Oh." I say. "But Edward said-"
"That only a blood sucker could kill another blood sucker, right? Wrong. Werewolves can only be killed by leeches, and their brethren, and leeches can only be killed by werewolves and other leeches."
I think it over. This was what Edward was talking about.
"We're a messed up pair, aren't we?" Jake says. "Two species determined to kill one another."
"We'll see which is dominant." A voice says. Another wolf.
I rush home. Alice opens the door for me, as usual. Everyone is in the main room, waiting.
"Jacob Black and his werewolves are after us for turning Bella." Alice says.
The room is eerily silent for a minute or two. All of them looking at me. Suddenly, a window smashes! Werewolves flood the room. Seven. But there are eight of us. One to each werewolf, except the leader, Alice and I took him. We killed them and threw the bodies out the broken windows.
