Emelan wandered between the trees, admiring the growing saplings and the old giants. He found a spot with some nice soft leaves and sat down to relax.
Aya fluttered between the trees looking for something to take up the time.

Inae had woken up from a warm nap in the pleasant sunshine, and was now ready to find something a little more exciting to occupy her afternoon. The sleepy dark female stood, shaking leaves and dirt from her as she stretched her limbs and headed off at a trot through a grove of trees. Her black bat-like wings were folded back against her body as she moved quickly downhill. Ciara turned her bright green eyes to the sky, lifting up and soaring away with ease. The young phoenix flew over a small stream, continuing on until she reached a tall oak tree at the edge of a small forest.

Emelan spotted the black female, but decided to sit quietly and watch her.Aya flew as quietly as she could towards the other phoenix "Hi there"

Inae slowed down. She caught a glimpse of red and gold through the foliage. Someone else was up and about too but she wasn't sure if she had been seen. She kept walking instead, attracted by a small clearing up ahead.
As she started to land on the tree branch, a sudden approaching movement caught Ciara off guard. Instead of a smooth landing, the black and green phoenix awkwardly moved, knocking a wing against the rustling leaves. She turned to see the other bird, "You should be careful, I didn't see you coming." Hopping over to make sure the other bird had room to land too, the young female added, "My name's Ciara."

Emelan continued to watch, unsure yet if she was friendly or not.
Aya landed neatly next to the other phoenix, "I'm sorry if I startled you, I'm Aya, I'm fairly new around here, are you?"

Caeleth, one of the oldest phoenixes in the valley glided through the treetops. Times were good. The valley was reshaping and regrowing itself so that new life would come forth. And the phoenixes were settling in nicely, finding their place. Deep green eyes were roving and Caeleth sent out a loud welcoming trill to all who were near.

Aya trilled back happily, happy to hear yet another phoenix voice in this forest.

Inae explored the clearing happily. She hadn't seen this spot before, it seemed to be fairly private amongst the tall trees. She was listening to the sounds of the forest and the birds around her, forgetting for a moment all about the other griff she had caught a sight of. The dark female sniffed around, finally settling on a spot full in the sun to stretch out in.
"Hello Aya," Ciara bobbed her head in a friendly way towards the other phoenix. "I have been around here a lot, but not this far out in the forest. What are you doing out here today?"

Emelan watched the female cautiously, barely breathing so as not to disturb her.
Aya bobbed back to Ciara, "Oh, I was just exploring, just looking for someplace new, I love to explore, don't you?"
