Callahorn PlainsDominant Race(s): Humans Places of Significance: Allegiance: Brettonia Population Size: Services: Blacksmiths Overview: The great Callahorn Plains of Brettonia. These great rolling plains are mostly devoid of trees, and you can go miles before seeing anyone. There are also farms and small communities in this region, but unlike the villages and towns of the Empire, these towns usually are not walled and very well protected, as the borders of Brettonia are well guarded, and Orcs do not usually roam openly here, especially since there is no cover like in the forests of the Empire. One could spot Azura from miles away on the plains. The grace and glow of her past angel life lite up like a white torch in the field. She looked up at the stars and sighed with a great sadness. "Where are you....?" she whispered in the cold, night air. Azura almost jumped when she heard a noise far in the distance... ((Sweet! I did it! xd ))

(I miss LittleDisaster crying Maybe I should PM her....)
They traveled for a little more than a week. The trip had taken longer than normal because they stayed off the main roads but in the end they made it passed the Imperial Patrols and into the Kingdom of Brettonia. When they had crossed into the great plains of this region they had expected to see at least some traveling knights, guarding the borders of their kingdom from Orcs and other monsters, but there were oddly none. The open plains allowed one to see for miles around but they oddly saw no one, no travelers, no knights, no body. It was as if they were the only ones left in the world.
Zeke who had come from the Empire did not notice, he was used to forests, not open plains like this. But Dar did, he seemed especially worried and Tira told the rest of the group that something was not right. After a few miles she knelt down to the grass and listened, motioning for them to make as little noise as possible.

Kiss me... Aikia and Sarith both also felt uneasy at the lack of people, but at the same time a little relieved that they didn't meet anyone. They agreed with Tira when she said that something was wrong, and had a hurried comversation between the two of them that ended abruptly as Aikia shushed Sarith when Tira knelt down.
The two of them stayed silent. Aikia watched Tira, while Sarith, feeling more uneasy, kept looking around. ...I taste like blackberries

"This trip is exhausting."
Atronies said to himself as he sits down in the long grass. He pulls the rum bottle out of his pack and takes a sip from it.
"I definitely need to find a place to camp for a little while. And maybe I'll run into someone out hear."

Looking over the plains he spots a good place to camp in some trees. Atronies sets up camp and waits for sunset.

Tira closed her eyes and listened carefully, like her mother had taught her so many years ago. She eventually stood up and looked somber, which was unusual for her personality. "The grass says that blood drenches the earth, some miles to the north west of here. Few others travel the whole of Callahorn, and the few places that have people are the same story, something terrible is happening."
(Jakle, I apologize for not posting anything for you elsewhere, I am kinda stretched at the moment with back to school stuff, but you can feel free to join our group, as long as Atronies plays nice)

Kiss me... "We should check that out" said Aikia immediately. "That place to the North West. We should find out what's going on. Maybe we can help."
"Always were too kind for your own good," muttered Sarith.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she replied coldly, glaring at him again. "You agree with me, right?" she addressed Zeke, Tira and Dar.

Zeke looked worried, "um, wouldn't we want to stay away from danger?"
Dar just shrugged.
Tira bit her lip, thinking about it, "I want to know what is going on. If Brettonia is unsafe this would be the best way to find out."
"Yeah, but should we really run into a burning building?.... metaphorically of course..." Zeke said.

Kiss me... "If it's unsafe, the chances are we're going to run into whatever it is at some point anyway, so we might as well go looking for it, because that way we're expecting it. Besides, I want to know what's going on," pointed out Aikia, brushing away a lock of hair that had fallen in front of her eyes.
"For a load of rubbish, that made surprising sense," said Sarith sourly, folding his arms. ((Ooh, alliteration, lol))
"Oh, shut up." ...I taste like blackberries

After waking, Atronies noticed a feint sent on the air.
{What is that smell}He thought as he sniffed the air again.
As he looked over the plains he noticed a group of travelers.
"A High Elf, a Dark elf, two Human, and a Wood Elf. That's a curious group of characters. I wonder where their going?"
Quickly Atronies gathered his things and fallowed the travelers. Keeping his distance so not to be seen. (No problem, sorry it took me the weekend to post again. I was on a camping trip. And I promise Atronies will play nice.)

(With 3 Elves you know at least one of them is going to see you right? lol and that is cool, I hope your trip was fun)
Tira led the group to where the grass said the carnage was occurring. At the pace they were going they should reach the place by the next day. In the distance Tira saw a lone figure silhouetted against the open plains. "Looks like we have a shadow."

Atronies makes eye contact with one of the elves and decides to make contact with the group ahead.
"HELLO THERE!" He yells as he approaches them. "Do you mind if i join you? That is if you don't mind vampires." He said with a smile.
"Oh, forgive me, i forgot to introduce myself. I am Atronies Rosencross, master thief and and assassin for hire."

Zeke almost froze, "did he say Vampire?"
"Yeah? So? Dar and I have another Vampire buddy... that is who we were looking for... but we have no idea where he is," Tira said sadly.

Atronies showed no surprise to Zeke's reaction to him being a Vampire.
"Yes, I said Vampire. But no worries, I don't kill those i feed off. I take what I need, and send them on their way a little dizzy and dazed. And i never force any one to be a vampire."
Then he looked at the elf that said she was looking for the other vampire.
"Did you say there are other vampires in this land.? Maybe you can help me then. I'm looking for my brother. His name is Trell. Have you heard of him by any chance?"
