I've asked you all here to help locate and retrieve a young Whalen that was kidnapped. Somewhere inside this mansion the doctor is holding the poor kid. Also inside are familiars and other items that belong to the cafe. If you find some, you may keep them. Please be sure to search all the rooms thouroughly or you might miss an important clue or hidden familar/item.[Below are floormaps of the three levels to the mansion. Please keep in mind that these are OOC knowledge only. Don't go straight to where you think the Beat is. Try to draw this out and actually have fun.
The arrows show hidden doors. The one in the library is a secret elevator that goes to the study. The one in the kitchen opens to spiral stairs leading to the basement. Note that not all doors are unlocked in the house. Keys might need to be searched for. I'll be trying to keep an eye on the event as much as I can to mention people finding stuff, but please don't be impatient or complain if I disappear. Above all, have fun!]Now, with flash lights, trick-or-treat bags, and your costumes, go rescue the Whalen. I'll try and help if you get lost.

Before you lies a large delapidated mansion over-grown with vines and weeds. As you approach the front door, you find that, just as Nairn promised, the door is unlocked. You enter the manor with your Beats and your friends, noting that you enter a large foyer with plush carpeting and antiques everywhere. Before you, a stairway stretches upwards to the second floor. To the left appears to be a room with a large table and to the right is a room with couches, chairs, and endtables. Searching about, you find a light switch, but it doesn't work. Like everything else in the house, time has made the wiring of the house cease to work. You switch on your flashlight and prepare to look around, searching for clues. A loud thump is heard from upstairs, followed by a creak to the right.
You can either decide to stay together as a group, strike out individually with your Beats, or pair up. The adventure all begins with a first step forward...

Burky held a large flashlight in his right hand.
He moved the flashlight quickly to try and see what had make the creaking noise.
But was unable to catch a glimpse of what had made that noise.
"Eh... Guys and Gals... I've watched alot of horror moves in my time and usually the the people on there own die very quickly. Maybe we should spit into groups of 2 beats and owners. That way there is at least 4 against 1 Dr if we find him."
Alex held a much smaller torch in his hand. When he was flying about he looked like a little firefly. He was fascinated by how bright it was and shined it in Burky's face to find him.
"Alex can you please stay on the ground and it's scary enough in here without you flying around shining the torch in my eyes. So what do you think of my plan people?"

Gabrielle entered the mansion along with Clove. She looked down at the young Beat. This should be good for him. I just hope that he doesn't get into any trouble... Gabrielle came out of her temporary daze and realized to her shock that Clove was already gone. She made her fear known verbally. "Gah!" Gabrielle looked around frantically until she spotted Clove waving at her from under the dining room table. Gabrielle waved back and then clutched at her chest, her heart pounding. She groaned. Maybe this wasn't a good idea.
Gabrielle turned to Burky. "I think that sounds like a good idea."

"Yeah it think so too. We better wait to see what the rest of the group wanna do but I don't wanna run in there an be killed or eaten or both." He said cautiously. not wanting to seem the leader of the group and also because he didn't couldn't decide what way to go first.
Alex shined his torch on clove keeping his eyes on the young beat who seemed to show no fear unlike he had seen in any beat.

Necia bounced into the mansion, quite unaware of the gloomy atmosphere.
"Come on Princess! Come on! This is gonna be fun!" She shouted back to her
friend.
"Necia, please.....kepp your voice down!" Princess hissed back at her. "I'm
coming...." She stepped into the mansion cautiously, taking in the surroundings.
It almost looks like something straight out of a fim, she said to herself.
Just then, Princess spotted a few people ahead of them. "Necia!" She called.
"Lets..."
But Necia had already spotted them and bounced over to them gleefully. Princess
sighed. Please God, don't let her get into trouble....

Burky turned to hear where all the noise was coming from then seen Princess in the just behind him with her beat.
"Good to see you could join us Princess. I thought it would be better if all of us went into the mansion as a group of 2 owners and Two beats. That way we would have safety in numbers and be able to cover ground quicker you agree? Plus the sooner we get Nairn and the cafe stuff back, the better"
He said politely to princess. Trying to explain his plan of action and the reasoning behind it.
Alex turned his light to the oncoming beat that he had never met before.
((Last post i gotta go out tonight hopefully may add a post later on. You can control me or Alex if you like but don't kill me or make my character or beat go way crazy or something. i'm indecisive it that helps in any way sweatdrop ))

Clove blinked into the light being shown on him and quickly crawled out from under the table. He hadn't seen many Beats before now. Clove approached the Beat who was shining a light onto him. "Hello!" He started to hear more footsteps.

"Hello I'm Alex. You must be Clove as i just heard your guardian call for you. It's not very safe in there at the moment perhaps you should come over here with the group." Alex said trying to reassure Clove that it was benifical to be over with the group than in the dark creepy mansion.

"Well that sounds like a good plan Burky," Princess nodded. Less chance of
trouble-making..... "So! Is anyone else coming or is it just us?" Princess looked
over to a girl she had not met before, and held out her hand. "Hi, I'm Princess..."
"And I'm Necia!" Her energetic Beat chirped. "And who is this?" She said referring
to the beat at the girl's ankles.
