I really get brought down by all the pointless hussle and bussle (sp?) of people and all the nonsense of the year from Nov. 20th all the way up to Dec.31st along with annoying a** traditions. Being made to visit with family you never see or talk too (and sometimes for good reason), people running around like maniacs all stressed out, and all the fake cheer that people put up like they are actually feeling good will towards fellow humans (that makes me sick as hell).
Is it just me, or does anyone else find any dislike in the last 60 some days of the year bothersome as well? (mayhaps all the whinney scrooge types bitching about disliking the holidays perhaps rofl )

The holidays are way too hectic and stressful. xP And cold, but I guess it would be cold even without it being a holiday. >.> I don't like it because it limits me on things I can buy. I gotta get cheap lunches. -_- Kinda annoying, really. But, I do like the fact that I get to hang out with my family and friends. A lot of the time it can be awkward and a little annoying with the people that you don't really see/talk to, and it's like, "Oh... hey, yeah, I forgot how you're related to me.... aunt? ...No?" But it's fun when you just hang out with the family that you actually talk to. Plus, I'm excited this year because I get to see my nephew. ^^ (My sister lives pretty far away, so I don't get to see them often.) Still, I'm a little bummed that my other nephew, brother, and sister-in-law won't be coming, but I see them all the time, so that's not too bad.

yeah they are hectic, and i honestly could care less if i saw most of my family. especially for someone who isn't christian, celebrating christmas is really just a reunion with presents. i don't mind it except for the fact that my parents are separated and so are my guy's, so we might have to go 4 places in one day (and no they're not close to each other). i do like the deal in general though. this year i'm upset because i was unemployed for a couple months recently, not even my fault- the business closed, so now i'm really scraping for gift money, not something i'm used to. i avoid the mall crowds by shopping online. i equally dislike holiday grumps (get over it already) and the really forceful "tis the reason for the season" people (get over it already). but i enjoy the day in general.
