Welcome to the first annual Furuba Bachelor/Bachelorette Celebrity Auction!
For the Ladies:
I know a lot of you ladies out there have been fighting over the boys of Furuba. This is your chance to claim one of them exclusively as your own and earn bragging rights for a whole year! Several fine young men are up for grabs this month so make sure your funds are in supply and your bidding arm is nice and limber.
For the Guys:
Okay, I honestly don't remember if a single one of you posted in either of the Furuba threads, but I've got a gaggle of gals on the menu tonight and one of them could be all yours for the next year. So, let the auction begin!
The Rules:
1. All bids will be posted in this thread, using the following format:

Bachelor/Bachelorette of choice:

[questions/comments/challenges to other bidders/idle chatter may go below your bid]

2. You may only have TWO active bids at a time. Once you are outbid, you may bid again on the same character or bid on a new character. [This is to prevent all the characters going to one ambitious/rich guildmember.]
3. All bids will be in Gaia Gold in increments of at least 25 and the opening bids must be adhered to.
4. The auction will end on midnight of December 30th (Pacific Time just because that's Gaia's timezone.) At this point the highest bidder wins.
5. Keep chatter and challenges civil [and PG13]. We all like a good competition, but I won't stand for abuse of fellow guildmembers.
6. This one's not really a rule but here goes. There is no same gender restriction. Guys, if you want to bid on the Bachelors, go right ahead and Ladies, if you want to bid on the Bachelorettes, feel free.
7. If you're concerned about where your winning bids are going, it's basically just a fundraiser for future Okonomiyaki/AoTM Contests. All winning bids will be traded to the guild banker Banker_Amaya.
The Prize:
All members winning auctions will recieve an onigiri and a drawing (done by me) of their avatar with the bachelor/bachelorette they won. I'm not a great artist or anything, but I can do better than stick figures. [Check out my art thread in my sig. The Chinese Zodiac Avi Art Thread. It's really quite appropriate for Fruits Basket, ne?]
WINNERS: Once you've been informed that you won the auction, you have two weeks to open a trade with Banker_Amaya to send your winning bid. Once the Captain assures me he got your trade, I'll send your Onigiri and open dialogue for details on your drawing. Don't expect to get your drawing right away, but I promise to get it to you as soon as I can, since I have potentially 10 drawings to do for this auction.
