I thought itll be interesting to talk about math class seeing how eveyone doesnt like it. Me personally I dont like it because it bores the hell out of me. I just finished doing a problem and I didnt even relized it was done. The thing I hate most about it is that most problems you have to take time just to get an answer I feel like that is a waste of time. Its easty but Super boring i get upset just looking at it. What do you think about suugaku(mathematics)

I've been skipping my math class for the past week or so, so I think my opinion on the subject is pretty obvious. XD

The Apathetic One I've been skipping my math class for the past week or so, so I think my opinion on the subject is pretty obvious. XD YOU BUM. You shouldn't skip class, regardless of it's pointlessness. Anyways. My math class is silly, most of it is obvious and stuff I've learned before, and the problems were harder and the class more rigorous in earlier years. We spend half of the hour doing nothing. He assigns homework or we take notes and the rest of the time is nothing.

hmmm y=mx+b
so ax+by=c
y= 2x + 4-slope intercept form ^_^
equals 2x+y=4 -standard form
(2,3) (3,2)
y-y1= y2-y1 ----- (x-x1) -two point form x2-x1
y-3= 2-3 ---- (x- 2) 3-2
y-3= -1 ---- (x-2) 1
y-3= -1x + 2
y= -1x +2+3 y= -1x + 5
so all in all
1x+y= 5
that's covering standard form, slope intercept form, and two point form ^_^
now for point slope form biggrin
y-y1=m(x-x1)
so if the slope(m) is 15 and the coordinate is (2,9) than the equation goes like:
y-9= 15 (x-2)
y-9=15x+ 30
than transpose 9 to the other side so the equation will become
y=15x +30+9
y=15x + 39 should be the final answer
in standard form it would be
15x+y=39
lol if anybody understood this give me the answer to :
m= 15 (8,4) note* use all forms except for two-point form

Hayabusa Vampiro eek When did they put letters in math question Lol the letters represent an unknown number. However like on a graph you have x-axis y-axis and m is your slope. Dont aske me what mag was doing it just look like he copied didnt equations and didnt explain anything or complete shown what he did to get his conclusion. Its not that I dont underrstand the equations...I already know that and is beyond pass that level of math. If i was his teacher I'd give him an F XD. Not because of wrong answer its just he just put a whole bunch of different equation for what purpose?

time to explain the way my teachers did...
ok guys, there is something called a slope
the slope is the steepness of something slanted yada yada yada
X- represents the number in the x-axis (which is the horizontal line) Y- represents the number in the y-axis ( which is vertical)
so the line pretty much looks like this + except its way bigger
so this (2,3) is what we call the coordinate
the first number is always the X in the equation, and the 2nd is the Y
There are four quadrants in slope, which are amply named Quadrant I , II, II, and IV
they are read in a C fashion, which is read as: 2, and 1 on the top, and 3,4 on the bottom, respectively
in quadrant 1, both coordinates are positive, in which they are on the top right
quadrant 2 has a negative x-coordinate and a positive y.
quadrant 3 has both negative coordinates
and quadrant 4 has a positive x coordinate, and a negative y -coordinate
