Fantastic. I think it's my favorite album by them. My favorite tracks are "Losing Touch", "Spaceman", "Joy Ride", "A Dustland Fairytale", "I Can't Stay", and "Goodnight, Travel Well", but all of the songs are great.

Anyone else? biggrin

I don't think it has a mega-hit like Brightside or WYWY, but this album really brings the heat.

It has zero weaknesses, I was looking for some and i couldnt find any.

I really really really love this album heart

1. Joy Ride
2. Goodnight, Travel Well
3. The World We Live In
4. Neon Tiger
5. A Dustland Fairytale
6. Losing Touch
7. Human
8. This Is Your Life
9. I Can't Stay
10. Spaceman

Human and Spaceman probably get downgraded a bit because everything is really new content and the two singles have been out for a month plus.

It was really hard when i initially made that list.

The album is stacked though.

Yeah, I agree. But a great album, nonetheless. biggrin

Indeed, I'm also kind of glad it took a while to leak. I know Sam's Town leaked and the band wasn't too happy about that.

It's also getting some great reviews. Deservedly, I should add.

Hmm, the Killers are releasing songs for GHWT (in-case you hadn't heard: http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/B4F31651-E48B-4BBF-BE8F-FBD962E239C5.htm). But they should have totally included Neon Tiger! That song is perfect for that... biggrin

It took me a few listens to really get into it. But now I think it's great!
My favorites are: Human, losing touch, spaceman, neon tiger, and dustland fairytale.
I think its very different from Sam's Town and HF but its still great.
Go tacky sax solos!!

I'm so glad they're going back more to the style of Hot Fuss. So far, Spaceman is my favourite, but as long as this album stays true to form, that'll change after a few more album listenings. Generally, my favourite song at first is never my overrall favourite song on the album.

[«I n v e r t e d. Enigma»]

xxxxx1. Goodnight, Travel Well
xxxxx2. A Dustland Fairytale
xxxxx3. Spaceman
xxxxx4. The World We Live In
xxxxx5. I Can't Stay (snazzy beginning ftw.)
xxxxx6. Neon Tiger
xxxxx7. Losing Touch
xxxxx8. Joy Ride
xxxxx9. Human
xxxxx10. This Is Your Life

xxxxxOverall, a very good album. Joseph and I were going crazy over it for months. He'd constantly find leaks and whatnot. I was supposed to see them in NYC on October 24th, but I never got to. I thought my life would be over. crying I was caught be surprise when I realized Human wouldn't be the best track on the album, considering the fact that the first single usually ends up being my favoruite for some reason. Probably because I listened to it more than every Shinedown song I own (all 43 they ever produced. O.o), I supposed it got old after a while. D:

Every song on Day and Age has both different, yet a similar addicting tone. Very well made.

I've given the album more of a listen and i don't care for Dustland Fairytale or Travel well, but i love the rest!
So its above Sam's Town on my list (i skipped a few songs on that one, including My List sweatdrop xd ) but below Hot Fuss which i pretty much listen to end to end.

I've been off for a long while... D:

I was extremely hyped for Day & Age to come out... I love the album to death and I think it's fantastically made; although, I was slightly disappointed... I'm not sure why, though--can't say what I was expecting from them exactly. I think on their last two studio albums the band had some very memorable and loveable songs. With Day & Age, I just didn't get that feeling =/

"Spaceman" has to be my favorite, though biggrin Followed by "Human," of course, and "The World We Live In," "Goodnight, Travel Well," "Tidal Wave," "Losing Touch," and "A Crippling Blow." ...I could list each song! heart

I love the album in whole! ...The songs just didn't hit me the same way Hot Fuss and Sam's Town did. Anyone else get the same feeling or is it only me? D:
