I figured it is time for us to digress from only talking about 'Aussie' things, so I offer you this.
So all, what is your favourite anime?
Personally, I would have to say Hellsing. I don't get to watch much anime nowadays, so hence why my fav is such an oldie.

Seeing as I run a site that focuses a fair bit on anime, you'd think I watched anime. Honestly, I haven't watched anime since I was about 13 and Pokémon stopped being cool at school. I grew up right in the middle of the Pokémon era XD! Some of the girls in that show were extremely attractive also.

My current favorite is a close tie between One Piece and Soul Eater.
Soul Eater for the awesomeness that is actual full episodes (instead of a summary of the previous episode; then a look at the next episode + more random stuff put in that makes most Anime episodes run for...like...10-15min).
Soul Eater's fighting animations is also wicked.
One Piece is just pure awesome. Imagination runs wild; really fun to watch and read.
The list then falls something along these lines:
3. Rahxephon
4. D.Gray-man
5. Bleach
6. Naruto (might be better than Bleach with the guest artists' awesome animations these last few episodes)
7. Death Note
8. other Anime~

I'm not really a fan of Death Note
I know a lot of people who are but it just doesn't really appeal to me.

I really like Hellsing too. I like just about any anime though. redface
The only thing I can't stand about anime is filler episodes and past episode flashbacks that are completely not necessary. Naruto being probably the worst offender at the moment.

I enjoy anime, I just don't really get to watch much of it.
Love the studio ghibli stuff, but I figure that goes without saying. Cowboy Bebop is pure win. Love the music too.

I can't pick just one favourite but I'll try to keep my list short.
Okie dokie, at the moment my favs are
heart Azumanga Daioh
heart Lucky Star
heart Chobits
heart Ouran High School Host Club
heart Bleach
....there are plenty more that I like but I'll leave it there.
Oh, and 'Sailor Moon' will always have a special place in my heart as my first ever anime back when I was a kid watching cartoons before school. *sigh* such simpler times! 3nodding
