Allright... I just got annoyed so I'm going to create a list of stuff you don't really need for your vehicle. And if you dissagree with my by saying, "But I NEED my four piston callipers, cross drilled and sloted rotors to stop my civic." you are a ricer. I will post the item you don't need and have an explanation after it. Please add your own.
Extravegant Brake Calipers/Rotors - The wheels will lock-up with the stock brakes, can you really make it better than that?
Five and Six Speed Auto Trannies - Just learn to shift damnit. rolleyes
Computers Devoted Entirely To Climate Control - Remember the four position nobs for the fan and the dial for the air temp? Were they really that hard to work???
Power Everything - Again, just turn the damn nobs...
Fart Cans - Enough Said
More than one exhaust pipe with less than eight cylinders - I know, I know, that Cavy that you saw with four pipes sounded like a weed eater and that's what's cool now. But you need back pressure.
Multiple Spoilers - Even NASCAR only uses one.
Fourth+ Tail-Lights - Two is good, three is nice, any more than that you're either worried that I can't see you when you slow down or you're a ricer.
Giant ABS Systems - My corsica would wrinkle the body before the brakes locked up. Also, when you hear "EEEERRRRRR!!!" let off.
TCS You Can't Turn Off - Okay, I know it's good in winter time, but they really cut down on all the fun stuff you I get to do.
Fire Extinguishers Inside The Vehicle - Here's a hint... if you need this in your car, you probably shouldn't drive it. (there are a few exceptions to this. IE: Toker's buggy has a gas tank directly above the engine)

Fire Extinguishers Inside The Vehicle....i have one in my center console, one in the glovebox and 1 under the hood...i wanna be able to put that fire out in a hurry so my car doesnt burn to the ground.
SPINNING HUBCAPS....do i really have to explain this to you?
STICK ON HOOD SCOOPS...OMG people drive me insane with these things
SCREW ON EXHAUST TIPS STUCK ON FACTORY PIPES when you take your screw on 6 inch tip and put it on the tip that already meets the edge of your rear bumper...its a bit much.
STICK ON HOOD PINS....now come on you are just being retarded if you use these.

I agree with number two, I think that if you drive and you don't know how to use a manual tranny, then you are a dork and you are paying a couple hundred dollars more whenever you buy a car because you're too retarded to learn how to use a stick. The only excuse for having an automatic on anything other than a truck or van is if you usually have to focus on other things while you're driving.
Hubcaps or rims with "Fix-A-Flat" melded to them=You are extremely retarded if you do this as it says not to on the can but it's probably been done before. It is also not aero-dynamically good for the car and you look extremely paranoid.
Donuts=They are small, and ugly and work worse than regular full-size repacement tires, but luckily, they don't seem to make these anymore. They prefer full-size tires now. Edit:unless your car can only use a donut sized spare, these are crappy.
Stock air intake=Unfortunately not everyone likes or has the time to upgrade their car, their loss. Just by bolting on a ram air or cold air intake, they could get a mile or two more to the gallon as well as a small bit of HP increase, plus the engine looks better and the resale value is higher than it normally would be.

How about nice interior? I riped the headliner out of my old jeep, and had rubber floors.
All our buggy's have fire extinguishers. And trust me if there's a fire the extinguiser isn't gonna help im gonna be runing b/4 that tank goes. My dads first bug he got cuz the moter caught fire. So he's kinda parinoid.

Go figure. rolleyes Even worse, those cars should be avoided on the used-car market because a lot of the nuts, bolts, screws, and seams on the car have been weakened by the vibrations...

In fact, I'm confident in saying that a very well tuned automatic transmission will beat a driver using a manual transmission in almost any circumstance but drifting. I just don't think car companies (gm for example) should make six speed auto's. Which they're doing. (gm is testing theirs... stupid stupid stupid) j5689 Donuts=They are small, and ugly and work worse than regular tires, but luckily, they don't seem to make these anymore. They prefer full-size tires now. My truck has to use a space saver tire, or "doughnut", because it's too low and I can't fit a full size ZQ8 style wheel in there. It's meant strictly for being a spare. New one I saw today: Stickers Of Parts You Don't Have - Self Explanitory.

auto trannies are most definatly faster for drag racing in almost every circumstance. i lost on average 5 tenths of a second in shifting time going from my auto to my 6 speed

I have a Manual in my Stealth, main reason I like it isn't just because it's funner to drive, but it keeps alot of people out of the driver seat. I realise, if they ask they get a firm "no", but the Girl I was dating at the time had a habit of sneaking off with my Keys and taking my Dakota for a Cruise. At least with this Stealth, she never had the chance. wink
And the Stickers of Parts you don't have...ugh, digusting. In my Auto Shop, we have a Camaro Z28 for a Mascot, and someone got the bright idea to Print off Decals, using a regular Ink Jet Printer, and stick them to the car. So, now, we have a gorgeous Z28...with a bunch of Sun and Water Bleached Papers sticking to it. Brilliant, just Brilliant. stressed scream
As for teh "Power Everything"...I like my Power Windows. And I miss my Power Seats. The Power Locks make life alot easier, Power Steering goes without saying...do I need to go on?

You should just tell them how stupid it looks with stickers on it. How stupid can they be? They ruined a Camaro by putting stickers on it, you should never put stickers on muscle cars. That would look extremely dumb.

A human can make an error, the computer will rev till when you tell it, and shift. A stock auto tranny will lose against a manual.

I have one. Wheel sizes.
Big wheels on small cars = seeing 20" rims tucked inside a CRX or any similar hatch...no..just no.
I believe the purpose of a wheel should firtly be for performance. Then it should look good. (on a 'race car')
On something built for show...I guess anything goes. A car ment for crusing should be as comfortable as possible, and should look good I guess. You wouldn't want to take your girl out to a posh resturnat in a gutted out race car would you?
And this next one gets me...
More than one TV in the car...firstly it has no place on a race car...maybe something you would cruise around in. However it pains me to see people (*cough*west coast customs *cough cough*) placing TVs in the door pannels, in the trunk and in the head rests of the back seat. What the hell?! I can't understand why people would want to waste money like that. Its absurd. Unless you plan on kindapping people, why do you need a TV in the trunk?

That's why you tune it... get rid of the torque management system if you want it for drag racing and it'd be just like popping the clutch. Toke's sexnoma allready does second gear scratches and he only firmed up the shifts in it. Yeah, it's true that the torque converter would keep it from being direct drive, but it's not like power is just dissappearing into thin air. It's there, waiting to be harnessed. Super Low Profile Tires - Yeah... must be nice when you hit a pot-hole and hear the rim it. And that a** wipe thick sidewall looks so damn cool.
